ScHoolboy Q’s upcoming album Oxymoron has been delayed due to sample clearance issues.

Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, CEO of Top Dawg Entertainment, explained the delay yesterday (September 20) via Twitter. Top Dawg noted that “a few more samples” have to be cleared before a release date can be provided to the public.

Oxymoron’s sample clearance issues have been discussed at least since June. However, Q recently announced that he was finished with the album and that he’d submitted the project to Top Dawg, making some believe the sample clearances were taken care of.
