Long Beach, California’s Joey Fatts recently released the video for “Need More,” a collaboration with Freddie Gibbs. Fatts spoke with HipHopDX about how his collaboration with Gibbs came to fruition.

“Me and Freddie have a lot of mutual friends,” Fatts said in an exclusive statement to HipHopDX. “His [deejay], DJ Izzo, is my nigga. He overheard me talking about Freddie one day and was like, ‘Man, I wanna see y’all on a track together.’ He linked us up and Gibbs rocked with me. [Freddie Gibbs is a] real stand up guy.”

“Need More” details Fatts’ yearning for additional resources in life, something he also discussed with HipHopDX.
