Before D.C. rapper Fat Trel had the opportunity to take the stage at his SDMG (Sex, Drugs, Money, Guns) mixtape release party at S.O.B.’s, his New York City celebration was cut short due to a shooting that took place shortly after midnight today (September 12).

During the shooting, which witnesses say took place around the bar at S.O.B.’s, four attendees were injured due to stray bullets. None of the gunshot injuries proved to be life-threatening, according to reports.

Although only four people were shot, one witness says it was possible that others may have been injured due to the resulting stampede.

“Everyone was ducking and rolling. A lot of people left bleeding. It was crazy,” one witness revealed to the New York Daily News.

Fat Trel even offered his thoughts on the shooting via Twitter, commenting on the craziness which ensued.

Fat Trel made headlines at the top of the year when it was reported that the DMV representer signed with Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group. He also gained brief notoriety last year due to a feud with Flipmode Squad rapstress Rah Digga.

At this time police have yet to identify the culprit in the shooting.

In 2008, a similar shooting broke out at the popular New York City music venue during a concert that was to feature a performance from former Dipset member Max B.
