With help from Atlanta-based Chef Aleem, B.O.A.T.S. II rapper 2 Chainz will introduce a unique offering to those who purchase the deluxe edition of his upcoming album. Anyone who purchases the deluxe edition of B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time will receive a digital copy of “#MEALTIME,” a cookbook featuring 14 health-conscious recipes created by Chef Aleem.

Since 2 Chainz, who suffers from acid reflux and ulcers, does not eat beef or pork, the cookbook will consist of recipes that are made using only seafood and poultry. During a recent interview, the rapper expressed the importance of healthy eating, especially in the black community.

“I’m a seafood lover, I don’t eat beef or pork, period… so turkey, chicken, that’s a lot of the recipes I use and eat every day,” said the Atlanta lyricist while speaking with Power 105’s DJ Self. “It clogs up arteries, cholesterol, and things of that nature. Black people, the leading cause of death is high blood pressure.”
