Recently, Meek Mill and the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Dion Walters hosted the first ever Dreamchasers Sports & Entertainment Summit at Temple University in his hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

During the event, Rise 24 Online caught up with Meek. “I’m feeling good… Been working hard, I’m here to inspire motivated people, so it feels great,” he said.

Meek, whose third entry in the Dreamchasers mixtape series is due out soon, defined what a dreamchaser is to him. “I would define a dreamchaser as someone that’s chasing they dreams and someone that’s serious about chasing they dreams,” he explained, thoughtfully.

The Maybach Music emcee also addressed the status of Dreamchasers 3, as well was MMG’s next compilation project, Self-Made, Vol. 3. “DC3 comes out September 29. I got the new headphones over there, they listening to it right now. Self-Made 3 come out September 17, so real fast. About thirty days.”

Meek was asked what fans could expect from him on the upcoming projects. “A lot of fire, you know what I’m sayin’? You see Kendrick and them poppin’…We gonna kill them clubs, we gonna kill that radio, we gonna touch them ladies, we gonna touch the streets.”

Finally, Meek was asked what NBA player he would compare himself to. “I’m LeBron. Because LeBron is a young guy that came in this game like a monster, and I’m that young guy that came in this game like a monster. And a lot of people counted LeBron out, and a lot of people counted me out. That’s who I compare myself to.”
