When the lineup for the second annual Made In America Festival was announced months ago, the roster noticeably lacked an appearance from Jay Z, an artist who played a vital role in the festivals debut last year and also served as headliner.

Although Beyonce and rockers Nine Inch Nails are currently touted as the headliners for this year’s Made In America Festival, a cameo from Jay Z is in fact a possibility.

According to Budweiser brand manager Mike Thompson, he isn’t counting out a surprise appearance from the Magna Carta Holy Grail rapper.

“You never know. I’m sure he’ll be here to support his wife and who knows, maybe he’ll treat us all to a cameo appearance during one of the performances,” said Thompson, while speaking exclusively with Billboard.com. “It would be cool to see him up there with Trent Reznor, similar to what he did with Pearl Jam last year. Those types of collaborations are always really fun.”

In addition to headlining performances from Beyonce and Nine Inch Nails, the Budweiser-sponsored event will also include performances from a number of Hip Hop acts including Drake, Wiz Khalifa, 2 Chainz, A$AP Rocky, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and West Coast rap quartet Black Hippy.

In preparation for the festival, all four members of Black Hippy (Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, ScHoolboy Q, and Jay Rock), appear in the newly-released On The Road Budweiser Made In America documentary.
