Three highly-respected veteran West Coast Hip Hop acts have united for a tour. Currently underway The Clash Of The Titans Tour features former Loud Records trio Tha Alkaholiks, Hieroglyphics member Casual, and duo Cali Agents. All six California acts have announced a 28-date tour, that’s ongoing.
Now working on a LikNuts project with Queens, New York duo (and fellow Loud alumni) The Beatnuts, Tha Alkaholiks have not released an album since 2006’s Firewater. Casual, a former Jive Records standout, will also perform, following 2012’s Respect Game Or Expect Flames album with The Lone Catalysts’ J. Rawls. The Cali Agents team of Rasco and Planet Asia are joining the tour, reportedly working on an upcoming album. In 2000, the Fresno-meets-San Francisco pair released the acclaimed independent LP, How The West Was One on Ground Control/Nu Gruv Alliance Records.
