Watts, California emcee Glasses Malone and former Sheppard Lane Records founder Stan Sheppard have partnered to announce Inner City Dreams on the recently-launched StarU Records.

Eurweb reports that the LP is said to be a benefit project which will raise funds for the families in the city of Chicago, Illinois who have lost children and loved ones to gang violence.

Father Michael Pfleger suggested to Sheppard that they work with the Chicago based organization called Purpose Over Pain. That org is comprised of parents of surviving members of families hurt by street violence.
