It was clear how much esteem Kanye West had for late Apple CEO Steve Jobs in his New York Times interview last month, where he praised the technological innovator.

So it made sense when Kanye revealed on Twitter that Kim Kardashian’s Father’s Day gift to the father of her newborn child was a pair of Apple computer mice—one signed by Jobs, the other signed by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak:

Speaking with ABC News, Wozniak explained how he came to meet West and Kardashian. “It was going to be a big surprise for Kanye,” said Woz. “What a beautiful idea from Kim.”

“I signed the mouse in front of him,” he continued. “It’s really rare, both our signatures in matching form.”

During the visit, Kanye took the opportunity to speak to Wozniak about some of his ideas. “It was an excellent conversation for about two hours and he finally got into his grandiose business ideas. I have some comments to give him. I have been thinking about it since the meeting.”

While Wozniak wouldn’t comment on the ideas, he praised West for his drive, and said when you “visualize yourself in a certain way” that anything can happen.

Wozniak also commented on Kim’s affection for West. “She wanted to do something nice, outstanding and unusual for her man. In this day and age you really have to put a thinking cap on,” Wozniak said. “I believe in signs of true love. I wanted to be a part of this.”
