Bad Boy Worldwide artist MGK (f/k/a Machine Gun Kelly) is preparing his Black Flag mixtape. The same week, MGK announced that he has added a fellow Cleveland, Ohio artist to his own fledgling EST. 19XX imprint. Ray Jr. (f/k/a Young Ray), who Kelly has previously collaborated with, is among the label’s first artists.

“I’ve been a fan of Ray [Jr.] since I was in high school,” said MGK. “The streets fuck with him whether he’s making music or not and That type of power is undeniable. This m’fucka hasn’t went one year without giving Cleveland a banger that you hear in every club in the city, now it’s time for the rest of the world to hear.”

Ray has worked with Big Sean and 2 Chainz, in addition to his Lace Up appearance. Last February, Ray Jr. was reported by XXLMag.com to have signed to Def Jam Records.
