Rapper Eldorado Red has been indicted with five others for the murder of Lil Phat, which occurred last summer.

The news is particularly disturbing because Eldorado and Phat had collaborated together on several songs, including multiple tracks on the former’s McRado’s 2 and the latter’s Return of the Mob mixtapes.

Dirty-glove.com reports that Eldorado was arrested in Fulton County, Georgia on Tuesday (June 4th), and is being held without bond.

ABC News has obtained indictment papers that name Red, real name Gary Bradford, along with Mani Chulpayev, Maurice Dewayne Conner, Deandre Washington, and Decensa Xavier White, claiming they “unlawfully, while associated with a criminal street gang, participate criminal gang activity through commission of an offense… to wit: crimes of violence including Murder, Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony…”

Eldorado Red has collaborated with artists such as Big K.R.I.T., Waka Flocka Flame, Yo Gotti, and Scoop Deville.

Chulpayev was accused in April 2013 of hiring hit men to kill Lil Phat because of the rapper’s apparent knowledge of shady car deals. Chulpayev reportedly has ties to the Russian mafia.
