Odd Future’s Earl Sweatshirt recently laughed mockingly at “Can’t Hold Us” by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. In a tweet, he described the song and asked who the rapper was. When a fan pointed out that the rapper was Macklemore, Earl complimented his financial status.

“Can’t Hold Us” was released in 2011 and was included in last year’sThe Heist by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. The song, which has been certified platinum, does not feature John Legend. The hook on the track was recorded by Ray Dalton. “Can’t Hold Us” can be viewed and heard below.
Earl has been in the studio with a different Mac. Last week, Sweatshirt released “Guild” with Mac Miller. Sweatshirt has reportedly been recording in Miller’s studio, according to FADER.
