Gucci definitely isn't a lyrical titan, hip-hop extraordinaire, etc. by any means.. but with all the people down-talking him and his lack of lyrical prowess, it's pretty clear NONE of you have taken the time out to listen to any of his cuts. He doesn't suck NEARLY as bad as people say! I think people gripe more w/ his voice and and subject matter than anything. And the ice cream tat. Lol Gucci can actually rap. He has flow. Not Lupe advanced word play but he can string some stuff off. His subject matter, of course, is very limited.. but, I wouldn't put a Gucci album on to get socially conscious either.. As for me, I'd rather bump a Gucci album ANY DAY over a lil Durk/Reese/Keef/Chance The Rapper/ type anyday.
