Chicago, Illinois rapper Lil Reese was arrested over the weekend after authorities found the young artist sleeping in a vehicle. He was arrested on a warrant. 

According to The Chicago Tribune, Reese’s warrant was issued last week. It reportedly stems from February 2012. The warrant is linked to charges of criminal trespass into a residence with people in it. The charges are also connected to “mob action and battery,” according to the paper. 

Reese was found sleeping in a car at 4 a.m. on Sunday. He is being held on a $100,000 bond.

In May 2010, Reese pleaded guilty to burglary charges and was given two years of probation, according to court documents. Earlier this month, Reese was charged with driving without insurance, driving without a driver’s license and he was given a traffic violation for not signaling. In the past, Reese has also apologized for a video, which surfaced online, containing footage of him assaulting a woman

Lil Reese made a name for himself in the music industry as a guest on Chief Keef’s “I Don’t Like.” He became a Def Jam signee in 2012. “Lil Reese brings a gritty, authentic perspective to life on the streets of Chicago,” Def Jam president Joie Manda said in a statement after the signing. “Artists like Reese are part of our lifeblood here at Def Jam, where we not only cherish our heritage as the definitive label in Hip Hop, but seek out, sign and develop the freshest talent our culture has to offer.”

UPDATE:The Chicago Tribune has reported that Lil Reese’s arrest is in fact linked to the aforementioned video, which surfaced of Lil Reese attacking a woman, which followed the existing charge of trespassing. The Glory Boyz Entertainment/Def Jam Records artist was released on bond, with a court date pending.
