In addition to releasing his debut album, Mysterious Phonk last year, Miami, Florida emcee/producer SpaceGhostPurrp has produced for the likes of A$AP Rocky, Juicy J and his own Raider Klan. However, like Lil Romeo, Cory Gunz and Lil Eazy-E, SpaceGhost revealed that he’s a second generation rapper.

In a new interview with Vancouver, British Columbia radio host, musician and journalist Narduar, the 4AD Records artist expressed his belief that his mother recorded with Cleveland, Ohio superstars Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. “She did [rap]. She actually did, back in the day,” Purrp said, when asked about his mother’s rapping and her association with BTNH. Admittedly, SpaceGhostPurrp was unaware of which songs his mother recorded with the Midwestern multi-platinum collective, or whether or not they were ever released. “I don’t know; we gonna find out though,” he said. Last year, SpaceGhost worked alongside Freddie Gibbs and Bone Thugs co-founder Krayzie Bone, on “Kush Cloud.”

During the interview, SpaceGhost also explains his influence by artists such as South Central Cartel and Paris:
