It appears that Compton rapper Tyga will be unable to surpass first week sales for his sophomore album, Careless World: Rise Of The Last King, with his latest effort. HotNewHipHop.com reports that Tyga’s newest studio album Hotel California will move between 45,000 and 50,000 copies in its first week.

That number is a great deal less than the 61,000 copies Carless World: Rise Of The Last King sold in its first week when it was released well over a year ago. Tyga’s sophomore effort also came in at #4 on the Billboard 200.

Released on Tuesday, April 9 via Young Money Entertainment, Hotel California features appearances from a number of noteworthy artists including 2 Chainz, Future, Rick Ross, and Lil Wayne.
