Young Chris is the flagship artist on producer Rico Love’s Division 1 label, but the former Roc-A-Fella records rapper recently took some time to actually explain how his label situation is broken down.

“The first deal was set up Division 1/Universal,” explained Chris in an interview with HipHopSince1987. “Rico [Love] had left Universal, so automatically I was a free agent. I waited six to eight months before I made a move. I got distribution from eOne.”

Chris continued, revealing that he has a significant number of collaborations coming up. “I got a gang of shit,” said Chris. “Everybody ain’t gonna make it, so I ain’t gonna holla a million names. Shout out Slim from 112, he came and did his thing… we got a smash. …Got this record with Kelly Rowland, the shit is amazing, it’s called ‘Mile High Club.’ Mario, we was down in Miami fuckin’ around, we did a major joint titled ‘Stars.’ Shout out to Yo Gotti… we got some smashes.”
