@Anon4 - That's because the shape of the current hip hop game is so horrendous that anyone like Kendrick Lamar, who is at least slightly above average, will be repeatedly dickridden to death. If this was the year between 1986 and 1996, then Kendrick Lamar would most likely be outshone because TALENT was rampant back then. Nowadays, talent and true art are very scarce unless you look underground (and even that's suffering).
