Four classic Hip Hop entities have come together for one Summer 2013 tour. Preparing his Authentic album, LL Cool J will headline over 25 dates with fellow legends Ice Cube, Public Enemy and De La Soul. The Kings Of The Mic Tour, as its called, will also be joined by Phoenix, Arizona’s DJ Z-Trip, who will be LL Cool J’s latest touring deejay..

Rap-Up.com originally broke the news. As Def Jam Records label-mates in the 1980s, LL Cool J and Public Enemy toured in 1987 and 1988. At last month’s Grammy Awards, Cool J and Chuck D joined Tom Morello, Travis Barker and Z-Trip to perform “Whaddup” from Authentic.
