Loon Arrested For Attempted Murder

An eventful weekend for Loon saw him get arrested attempted murder charges and released on a million dollar bail the next day.

In another black eye for hip hop, Bad Boy’s Loon was arrested and charged with attempted murder this past weekend. On Friday morning in Los Angeles, Loon (real name Chauncey Hawkins), William Reyes and Teon Tanqueray, allegedly started stabbed a bouncer outside of a Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz party at House of Blues.

The incident was said to have taken place around 1:00am after bouncers wouldn’t let them come in the club, which was already over capacity. Witnesses say that the trio proceeded to bumrush the security and stab on guard in the chest several times. The man was taken to a nearby hospital immediately and is in relatively good shape.

Loon and his companions were then arrested and charged with attempted-murder charges at the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's West Hollywood station. They were held on $1 million bail, which only Loon posted and he was released on Saturday morning. The investigation is being continued and an arraignment date will be set pending the results. Hey, maybe Loon will get a shacked up with Shyne.
