Vado has denied signing with DJ Khaled’s We The Best music imprint.

Over the weekend, the Harlem, New York rapper took to Twitter and announced that he was taking his talents to South Beach, confirming signing to the label. But shortly after he posted the tweets, he swiftly deleted them without explanation.

During an interview with Vlad TV, he said that he didn’t sign with the Miami, Florida kingpin but that he’s got love for the crew.

“Shout out Khaled, shout out to the We The Best team, shout out to Mavado, shout out to Ace Hood,” he said. “Yeah, you know, it’s potential over there. The potential is high. There’s a few people out there reaching. It’s not official yet. It’s just, hey, you ain’t know LeBron [James] was going to Miami until he really went to Miami, but you heard it in the air.”

He explained that his relationship with Khaled runs deep and that they go way back. “Khaled knew me for years, he knew me from the game from the Jae Millz era. There’s definitely close relations right there. He knows my family, I know his family.”
