  • Yall are crazy

Some of yall are bugging. Vast aire is far from wack. Some of you dont have the intellect to break down the lyrics. I have that album on cd and when i listen to it im cathing stuff that i didnt when i first listened to it in 2001. just like wu tang forever. Some of the beats by El p werent that great, but they fit in with the lyrics and style of rhyming. Maybe i'll go to the show.

I have the physical copy of the cold vein, which i consider a prized posession. So hearing this makes me happy.

    Disregard. December 9th it is.

  • M-Illitant

What is the date of this show????

  • hov

This dude saying Vast Aire ain't dope. That'sa dumb statement. You can't compare Group Home to Can-O. That aalbum is filled with jewels. But I do agree El-P should be there. I'd love to catch that show wish I lived in NY.

It's not a dumb statement, it's an opinion. Vast was wack to me, never liked that guy, and his mediocrity became obvious the day he started trying to make music that wasn't produced by EL-P.

Only group that could give Outkast a run for they money. Another album please...produced by Madlib and Harry Fraud...y

Unless EL-P is gonna be there then Meh, Cannibal Ox was the biggest waste of beats ever along with DJ Premier giving all that heat to fuckin Group Home back in the day. The Production on the Cold Vein makes that album a classic, and Vordul held his own. Vast Aire is unbearably wack tho

@ Arby Won Kenobi I been a hip hop head since 93 when I was 10 years old and I know plenty about hip hop. I agree with the first post, Vast is horrible

I agree with most of what you are saying. I don't think Vast is wack but any half way decent rhymer(s) would have still made that album a masterpiece on the strength of EL Producto's beats.

"I'm like Moses with a staff, to part the red sea But it's a new day, so I use the mic to depart emcees." Anybody saying Vast Aire is wack knows nothing of hip-hop.
