Twitter can often become a promotional tool for emcees and Kid Cudi took full advantage of the social network. On Sunday, Cudi took to his account and announced that he will be releasing indicud in early 2013. He also announced that he’ll be scoring movies after that and preparing for the third installment of his Man on the Moon series. 

Cudi then added that the album will feature “more uptempos,” and that it will consist of “a maximum of” 17 new songs. He added that “the tone of indicud will be positive and confident…I lost my mind for a bit but I found it.”

Features for indicud may include Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar, among others.
