Kanye West & Mase Appear In Footage From Jermaine Dupri's 1998 Birthday Party

A young Kanye West appears next to Mase in previously unreleased footage.

Fans of Kanye West might be familiar that his history with Mase extends beyond their latest collaboration for G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Summer. Back in 1998, 'Ye got a coveted production credit on Harlem World's "You Made Me" featuring Carl Thomas and Nas.

Now, Channel Zero and Creative Control have released a previously unreleased clip from Jermaine Dupri's 1998 birthday party in Atlanta, Georgia.

After fielding questions about rumors surrounding a relationship with Brandy, Mase passes the mic to a young West who sends a shout out to his associates in Chicago, Illinois and shouting out his Harlem World cut.
