Get On Down Records has exclusively announced to HipHopDX that its next release will be the Nas Illmatic Premium Collection. Sign up for the boutique label’s newsletter to receive early information about this exciting release, and to be able to order it before it goes on sale to the general public: only Get On Down members will have the first chance to purchase. In the past, Get On Down has licensed classic Hip Hop, Jazz and Funk albums, and provided fans additional rare and unheard recordings, promotional items and artist liner notes. There is no word at this time of what the the re-packaging of Nas’ 1994 debut album will include.
Heralded Hip Hop classic, Illmatic boasts production from Large Professor, DJ Premier and Q-Tip, and features an early appearance from AZ.
