Despite little news of its release, fans have been eagerly anticipating Jay Electronica’s debut album Act II: Patents of Nobility (The Turn). Now, in a interview with MTV’s RapFix, singer/producer Ryan Leslie weighs in on the upcoming project.

Leslie explained that he and Electronica actually got the chance to collaborate on some music for his own project Les is More, which led to him and Jay rapping bar for bar in the booth. As for Electronica’s complete LP, however, Leslie described it as “incredible.”

“I think that his album is really incredible,” he said. “We collaborated, I put some things down and worked on some music and some hooks. Next thing you know, I was spitting a verse to him of some things that I was working on. We were in the booth; it seemed like a cypher in the booth. I mean it was just a crazy experience.”
