Pharrell Williams has announced the revival of his skateboarding team ICECREAM, which he originally launched in the mid-’00s.
The Neptunes musician named four new members – Andre Beverley, Emmet Duffy, Jamel Marshall and Stephan Martinez – to the squad, and released a video showcasing both their skills and a previously unreleased track.
“Growing up, you see it everywhere: kids with all the talent in the world, but with very few or no opportunities,” said Pharrell. “Well, these are those kids and we’re giving them that opportunity. They’ve got the skill. They’ve got the personality. They’ve got a real story and ICECREAM is the platform for them to show that. It’s gonna be a beautiful thing to watch them grow”.

ICECREAM apparel is currently available in skate shops everywhere. Back in 2006, Skateboard P released a DVD featuring the previous incarnation of his team.
