Max B Speaks On His "Pardon The Wave" Petition, Aims For A New Trial

Max B shares the details of his "Pardon The Wave" movement, speaks on his fellow rappers using his style.

Although it was revealed just last month that rapper Max B would remain in prison until 2042, the incarcerated rapper remains optimistic that he’ll eventually be given a new and “fair” trial.

During a phone interview with Shade 45’s DJ Statik Selektah, Max B was joined by his manager and wife who both shared the details of the rapper’s “Pardon The Wave” petition. According to the trio, the petition was created to bring attention to the rapper’s situation and hopefully warrant a new trial.

“We want them to look at this case closer. We want a new trial,” Max B explained. “I didn’t have a fair trial. My constitution was violated. I mean you know, I’m still fighting though. I’m about to go on post-conviction. Everything is alright.”

On a much lighter note, the Harlem wordsmith also spoke on artists attempting to incorporate “Max B hooks” into their records.

“You know how they do. Sometimes the music is – they recycle it. It’s to get people [fame] man. People listen, I’m glad I could inspire a lot of artists out there. They do got my sound and people pay homage, it’s all love,” said Max B.

Yeah the Justice system has many flaws...He was supposed to have set up a robbery gone bad but they have no evidence. He wasnt even in the same state when the robbery/murder took place...basically some chick involved lied on him to get a lighter bid....Max is only guilty of associating with snakes in my opinion...Pardon the Wave...

What proof does he have that would get him a new trial? I love it when these guilty dudes spout all this nonsense about the system fucking them, when every step of the way the dude hasn't been able to convince anybody of his innocence.
