Mac Miller and Pharrell Williams have been teasing their joint Pink Slime EP for a minute, but the project is nearing completiong. During an interview wtih VIBE.com at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania rapper said that he’s one studio session away from wrapping the release, which is slated for this fall.

“It’s should be dope, man. It’s going to be really exciting music. It should be out this fall,” he said. “I’ve got to go down to Miami one more time and get one more studio session in, and it’s going to be dope.”

Mac explained that they’ve knocked out 11 records for the project, but it could be pared down for quality’s sake. “We have about 11 records that we’ve done, but I only want the best ones on there,” he said. “We gotta figure it out. I’m just hoping people like it, man. It’s something different from both of us and it’s just cool to be working with someone like that and have someone who’s such a legend be so into the project.”
