Slaughterhouse "welcome to: OUR HOUSE" First Week Sales Projection

Slaughterhouse could possibly land a number one debut with its latest offering.

The first week sales projection has been revealed for Slaughterhouse's Shady Records debut, welcome to: OUR HOUSE, which released on Tuesday (August 28th).

According to HDD, the quartet could possibly land a number one debut with the project, with expected sales to be in the 50,000 to 60,000 range. The super group is in competition with Christian artist tobyMac, whose latest album Eye On It is projected to sell the same number of records.

Slaughterhouse's latest album features guest appearances from Eminem, Busta Rhymes, Cee Lo Green, Swizz Beatz and more. It marks the group's first full-length LP since its eOne debut Slaughterhouse.

"these cats will be a force to reckon with in the Hip Hop game until they decide to hang the mics up" A force? lol Come down buddy. It's not that serious. They got some fans, and will probably continue making music with or without Eminem. Will they ever totally blow up? No. Not if Our House is any indication.

Such weak sales projections? who has really flourished under Shady Records with record breaking sales...Eminem couldn't even put out a descent Tupac album? HRSMN on Def Jam or Good Music would do better coz their subject matter is deeper than's Butcher

    • Typhoon

50 Cent flourished. He released 4 albums under Shady records, and his first two albums had record breaking sales, but other two also sold out well (went platinum and gold).

  • Typhoon

I remember how everybody criticized Yelawolf for not selling more, and Yelawolf actually had more success then SH, as we see now. And he never had this kind of support, and background like Royce or Budden, for example. I guess the future of Shady 2.0 now depends on Yelawolf's second album, because if his second album don't do well, there will be no Shady 2.0 crew anymore. You mark my words.

  • escoveli- where the truth happens

Just realise that Nas, 2 Chainz, Rick Ross are not as sellout as SH and they still managed to outsell the most sellout rappers in last 5 years.

Eminem is not taking their calls anymore. Bye fools

"Thanks to Eminem" It still counts as a million sold.

"Yet the reviews were great and it went #1" For one week. Then it dropped like the Cleveland Indians after the all star break.

"to 60 k first week sales is not a flop, go look how much 2 chainz, nas and rick ross did first week sales" Nas and 2 Chainz sold over 100,000, and Ross did 200,000. Doesn't take a math whiz to realize that they all out sold Slaughterhouse.

  • phantom101

how is 60k bad they wernt on every radio station and jump on every artist song who has buzz rick ross had to work hard to bring them numbers in slaughterhouse only has what 2 singles out people need to chill im sure if they hoped on every artist song they would sell alot that to me that is a sell out but thats my opinion. people saying slaughterhouse album is pop why because of 1 song with swizz beatz smh people are so ignorant you need a song for the radio to give your album buzz as much as i hate to admit it. it would be different if lady gaga or a actually pop artist was featured on there but nope so i dont see how in any way slaughterhouse is pop. slaughterhouse said they wanted to do it there way. music should speak for itself album is very solid fuck record sales slaughterhouse kept to there hardcore roots and thats why i respect them.

I think the first mistake they made is that they formed a group which consists of four members. They shold've formed a group only with Royce and Joe Budden. for start. Something like a rap duo. That way, they would make a much more cohesive formation, and they would produce more songs.

lol everybody things this album is great back in 1986 or 1994 this album would have been decent and nothing more. You guys should listen to the old shit. SL aint that good. But nowadays you can pick: DJ Khaled, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane or SL? So hell yeah Sl sound better but nothing special.

Production: Good One of the biggest complaints about the singles released for OUR House is that the production does not fit the style of Slaughterhouse. However, until now they have never had access to big name producers such as Boi-1da, No I.D., AraabMuzik or StreetRunner. And as we all know all too well, in order to make it big, you have to have some songs that are either radio, MTV/BET and/or club friendly. The Four Headed Monster achieves this with tracks such as My Life, Throw It Away and Hammer Dance. While writing this review I found myself thinking, what exactly is Slaughterhouses sound anyway? With only one independent album, an EP, a mixtape and countless loose tracks, its hard for me to find a common element in the production. Other than the singles, I feel as if the rest of the album has good production. The production is never repetitive and its fluidity is excellent. Standouts: Hammer Dance, Flip A Bird, Goodbye, Die Lyrics: Excellent I can understand worrying about the content and production being too mainstream, but to question whether the House Gang will continue to deliver lyrically is absurd. If On the House proved anything, its that these cats will be a force to reckon with in the Hip Hop game until they decide to hang the mics up. Now I dont want to single out any MC, because this album is a group effort, but Crooked I continues to awe with his way with words. On the title track, he begins his verse with the lines: In my house, the lights out, no utilities in the facility, feelin my lifes bout, to wipe out, these feelings Im feelin be killin me. I pull a mic out cant strike out, cuz if winnin is really my enemy, I pull a nine out, blow my mind out, is the end of me really serenity? These lines, for me, put the album in a nutshell. They find a way to combine their lyrical prowess with introspective content. Standouts: Our House ft. Eminem & Skylar Grey, Coffin ft. Busta Rhymes, Die, Place to Be ft. B.o.B Content: Great For years people have been saying Slaughterhouse is a one trick pony. Lyricism, but WTOH proves otherwise. After Goodbye leaked I knew that the first 3 singles were purely for promotion, and I wouldnt be surprised if in the future we find out this album gave them the same problems Lasers gave Lupe. Regardless, the Slaughter still came through with quite a few quality songs. They get personal with Goodbye, talk about their journey to this point on Our Way, and celebrate their new found success with My Life and Place to Be. As a long time fan Im impressed by the growth the group and individual artists have shown in their ability to make music, not just jaw breaking bars. I was also surprised at how well SH and B.o.B sounded together on Place to Be, as they are pretty different as far as their styles of Hip Hop. On another note, singer Skylar Grey is phenomenal on the hooks of Our House and Rescue Me. If Em or Dre havent signed her yet, they should before someone steals her from right under their noses. Standouts: Our House, Place to Be, Rescue Me, Goodbye, Our Way, The Other Side Conclusion: Great While this is admittedly not what I expected (as im sure most of you will agree) from the best group in Hip Hop, I feel once you give the album a chance and a real listen you see this is really a step forward for them. We heard from day one that Em had his hands all over this album (thus, we should feel lucky we didnt get any Big Weenie, Without Me or My Band esque tracks) and even then we knew that a major label album would need the okay from the suits upstairs. With that in mind, I feel as though Slaughterhouse did about as well as they could with Welcome to: OUR House. They showed not only their versatility as artists, but an ability to step out of the comfort zone which, as Ive said before, is lyricism. Will it be as successful as say a Young Money or G.O.O.D. Music album? Probably not, but Id argue that record sales have an inverse relationship to the actual quality of the music (except in a few rare cases, one of which being the executive producer of this album). Every artist must walk a fine line between pleasing old fans, and acquiring new ones. Others have said On the House was for the hardcore fans, while OUR House was for the newbies and mainstream. Id argue that old fans and Hip Hop Heads alike can enjoy WTOH just as much if theyre willing look at Slaughterhouse as artists, and not just MCs.

Mariah Carrey is biracial and eminem music sucks. I will take Pac,Biggie,Big L,Nas,Jay z,Outkast,Scarface,Elzhi, and numerous others than Em. Lets not start on Elvis he is not the greatest. I would take Jimmy Hendrix any day of the week over Elvis. I will take Hopsin, Kendrick Lamar, and Jay Cole over Em wack ass.

  • Anonymous

    FOUR CORNBALLS...WHAT DID YOU EXPECT!!!

    • Anonymous

let me see you HAMMER DANCE please

    • Nathan

They are not cornballs, c'mon. Relax. The only problem is that are stretched between two ends: satisfying their underground public, and on the other side, satisfying rules that major label dictates. The problem with this guys is that they dont have any ammount of mainstream experience. When they want to produce something that is commercial enough, they push themselves too hard, and then My life-type-of-singles happen... in other words, they don't have experience for making solid mainstream single - so in order to get that kind of experience overnight, they copy the patterns of single-making that elevated other mainstream rapper to instant fame and commercial success. But what they also dont understand is that they are not like Eminem: Eminem is unique. He is the only person that can combine that level of lyricism, hardcore hiphop, comic-book humour and grotesque with emotional and love songs, and produce miracles... he's one in the million, truly unique genius and charismatic cultural icon, and if SH try to apply that formula to their own work, its just isnt going to work, cuz they dont have sucha strong and charistmatic, inspiring personalities like Eminem. So i think that its acctualy much better to do what Yelawolf did - just try to indirectly oppose that Eminem influence in a sense(because he is the one and only),and instead creat your own working enviroment, image and appeal. Yelawolf even choose Willpower as the main produce for a large pile of his songs, he brought Kid Rock and Mystical to work with him, while SH based their whole major label work on Eminem formula, which acctualy only works on Eminem himself.

  • nuc

i know this isnt the review of the album,, but i gotta say one thing.... KEEP SWIZZ VOCALS OFF YOUR DAMN PROJECT, ARTISTS!

  • Nathan

What will happen with Yelawolf now? He was even better than this guys, he at least sold over 100,000 copies of Trunk Muzik 0-60, and he sold over 100,000 copies of Radioactive... he also did large pile of other works, collaborations with other artists, mixtapes etc (Ed Sheeran collaboration had over 100,000 downloads on first day). Not to mention that he had over 12 million views on Pop the trunk song, and over 7 million views on his lead single from Radioactive... also 8 million views for Daddy's lambo video, and two or tree million views on other videos... that is something - compared to this guys: Hammer dance only one million views, My life with Eminem introduction only two million views, and 60,000k first week projections)... and unlike Yela, this guys acctualy already had established names in the game before (Royce especially, he had large underground respect and had Bad meets evil EP with Em which went gold not long ago)... I ask this question cuz i remember how a lot of people criticized Yela for not doing better record sales, and this guys - with all the reputation and experience, acctually did worse...

  • ???

Why doesn't Em but 500k albums for them? I mean thats what Baby did for Wayne.

  • undergrounsellout

hey they use the underground to create a buzz this will earn you respect. after that you sell out and only give the underground a track here or there. most of them are so dumb once they have started becoming fans they can't tell whether your music is good or not, just because your a certain group they listen and assume something is there in your music whether it is or is not.

This will increase in the second week. I think the order the songs are in can fuck with peoples opinion on the album. Theres great music here but all towards the end. i skipped most in the beginning then ran into some outstanding shit. Our house, the other side, goodbye, rescue me, our way, Die, and asylum shoulda been the first 7 tracks. Then the rest of the tracks. Frat house is cool. Hammer dance too. Thats 9 out of 18. The ofher 2 are skits. Solid album. Not classic though. Much better thAn 2 chainz rick ross and khaleds album.

  • HM

Dam these comments are harsh and to each is own. I actually thought it was a cool album after a few times listening to it. Yeah it's different beats better than those ones that we hear all the time that sound like space sounds. So if you like to hear these beats that these new artist use that will be here today and gone next year, then enjoy! Sometimes you have to step outside the box and do what others are scared to do, be different.

    • @ dgdsg

Eminem is wack, and it is partly due to his inability to alter the tone of his voice besides the screaming thing he does. Secondly, dude is just corny sounding.... I'm tired of the same multi-syllabic overly wordy nerdy emo bullshit raps. Thirdly, fuck BET and what they have to say (it's owned by Viacom). • yerrrr

As a fan of all of these dudes individually, this Album, what I heard, does not even drive me to purchase the album. The first one I got, this one I honestly dont even want to download it. I heard the snippets and the direction is too much in the direction of "sluaghter house" like madness, murder death kill soundtrack beats. Em needs to let these nigs pick they beats and do what they want. Thats what they did the first time. Let Joey or Crook or Royce pick the beats and make some songs. Eminem failed on this one as a producer and mentor. And again I m a fan of all 4 of these dudes seperate and first albums was dope, but I m not moved by this album I do hope they go gold at least or it will hurt their future

No one cares for the album except someone pussy deprived nerds. Aint no one checkin for Slaughterhouse with their circus music. Slaughterhouse needs raw beats with heavy bass to match their lyrical content and they need a freakin album with a concept instead of a bunch of rapping. I promise this shit wont do over 40k with EM. And all you nerds are going to be butt hurt in disbelief and find some stupid excuse to avoid facing the truth. EM didn't help SH but helped expose that as artist trying to write songs they fall WAY short.

  • That dude

This is whitey white boy shit. Ya'll think this shit is the greatest shit to hit the speakers but this shit booty. Very few people are going to buy this crap. I wouldn't be surprised if stores start sending this half baked album back to Interscope. I can't wait to see what Slaughterhouse says when they flopped harder than a fat man's belly. What are you whitey's going to say? Oh but who cares about album sales and blah blah but you should care if your fav artist does well so they can continue rapping but EM done fuck SH up. SH should've went to Good Music to get some real beats that muthafuckas wanna here instead of some bullshit circus beats that sound like they where made from a kids keyboard bought from Dollar General.

    • lol just stop

  • SHIT HOUSE

I don't know why people are acting like this is a surprise. No buzz, no radio play, negative comments by fans of THEIR music complaining about the poor beat selection and so on. It was bound to happen. I coped the first one but will not support this him produced pile of shit. I researched MMG's first week sales and they were projected to sale 80 to 90k(don't know the actually) so SH selling 50 to 60k is impressive considering how subpar it is and the fact that they have NO hit singles and MMG did. But the counter argument is that SH should've sold waaay more because theoritcally they should've gotten Em's bandwagon fans. I guess this proves that Em's sound only works for his white ass. This shit right here proves that point very clearly. White nor black people will buy 4 black guys(puerto rican black to nigga) rapping like Em.

    • QBN

Eminem's fans are not hip hop fans.. they only care about his solo music. Even the Bad Meets Evil, shoulda sold way more, but they saw it as a "pet project" to help Royce out

  • Joell Ortiz & His Floppy Tits

SEE YA!!!!!!!!!!!! joell is DONE... this nigga will be a FREE AGENT the rest of his life... ive never seen artists try so hard for hits and come up with nothing!!!!!!!!!!!! i cant see anyone over 12 liking this piece of shit... elvis riders are gonna ask for more elvis... they dont like these guys!!!!!!!!!!!! somebody prop that corpse up... jimmy got eminem records to sell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! maybe em can come up with some overpriced product to whore... doubt it... dre is gonna keep moving 300$ headphones and eminem is gonna embarrass himself in the booth until hes 6 feet under!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im not joking when i say this is one of the WORST albums ive ever heard... PATHETIC close the book... this is the cap on 4 miserable careers!!!!!!

trying to go commercial intentionally will loose you respect, study the real erra, epmd, public enemy, rundmc, fresh prince, latifah, LL cool J. None of these artists main goal was to top the charts and gravitate to an Alien audience. The power in their artistry made it possible, way beyond expectations. The problem is, the more artist sacrifice their art for commercial success, you destroy the man coming in after you. And you won't be getting another nas or Tupac shakur, EVER, hip hop is DEAD!!!

I was really dissapointed there wasn't a single DJ Premier production on this album. I really wanted to like this album cuz all the emcees are dope and all the lyrics were on point but the production just absolutely killed this album. I was excited when I heard songs like "The Illest" & even the El-P remix of "Hammer Dance" but what actually made the album was very dissapointing and underwhelming especially considering all the talent that comprises the group.

  • EMINEM IS THE BEST RAPPER

Congrats Slaughterhouse, we did it! Finally made it. Hip-Hop has been needing a supergroup ever since D12 broke up, good thing they could pass the torch to you guys though. There isn't a group of the last 10 years (aside from D12) that is seeing Slaughterhouse, and you haters can thank Eminem for that. Em put together D12 last decade, and gave us Slaughterhouse this decade. I also think Yelawolf is the best white rapper aside from Eminem. This is why Shady 2.0 is the best. Album of the Year, easily. #ShadyGOAT #HouseGang #TrunkMuzik

  • gasoline

i can see people have very strong feelings about slaughterhouse, either positive or negative-i am a big fan of slaughterhouse, and i loved their first album-it didn't sell unfortunately, and they've been forced to compromise on the new album for radio airplay, and from their 1st week sales their gamble hasn't really worked-i really do feel for them, because even em's backing isn't enough to get them sales-i honestly don't know what they should do-i do think they should be more focused on their marketing & visuals, and use twitter to push their material & brand, rather than just talk shit all day like joe budden and royce do- but i believe their time is past now, they may have to call it a day-but the main problem is that nobody other than joe budden has the penmanship required to make a song, & it show with their solo albums..

I wish the web-hype would help Slaughterhouse atleast sell 100k but sometimes it just doesnt work like dat. Having that big radio single or chart-topping song usually helps an artists sales which they jus dnt have. Either way, their album is worth the $ and is the best album to drop this yr so far.

They might not sell the most records but I bet you not one rapper with something to lose (benzino doesnt count) will say em or anyone from SH's name on a diss track, because there are no better lyricists in the game right now period with maybe the exception of Nas. • ????

Hmmm... Why DO Slaughterhouse have all theses haters?

  • DJ Booth

Before we dig into welcome to: OUR HOUSE, lets take a minute to truly understand what were talking about when we talk about Slaughterhouse. Hip-hops really never seen anything like this particular four-man crew before. Sure, weve seen fleeting, always ill-fated supergroups formed by already established stars (cough The Firm cough), but never anything like Slaughterhouse. With some variation, Royce da 59, Crooked I, Joe Budden and Joell Ortiz were all in shockingly similar places in their careers. For each of them, mainstream success had once seemed around the corner, but that avenue now appeared to be closed off. Hip-hop is a young mans game, youre only given so many chances, and with every day it looked increasingly less likely that Royce, Crooked, Joell or Joes face would be on MTV anytime soon. But then.a mixtape track lead to the formation of a group, which lead to a self-titled album, which lead to a Shady Records/Interscope deal, which lead to welcome to: OUR HOUSE, the kind of major label funded album that was almost unthinkable for any individual member three years ago. With that in mind the mere fact this album exists has to be considered a success for Slaughterhouse, but hip-hop doesnt give out feel-good points. OUR HOUSE arrives with a hip-hop savior aura around it, and by that measure it falls well short. This album wont change hip-hop, and it certainly wont change an industry loath to invest in lyrical hip-hop, but no one album, no matter how good, could carry the weight of expectations like that. Maybe Im just feeling uncharacteristically optimistic today, but its still ultimately a good thing OUR HOUSE is in the world. We might as well get the bad news out of the way first. Nothing could be more clich than saying that Slaughterhouse sold out on this album, nothing more predictable than saying Interscopes fingerprints are all over the crime scenebut that doesnt mean its true. The primary reason fans were first sold on Slaughterhouse is that it sounded like they really, truly, didnt give a f**k. They were going to make their music, their way, and a middle finger to the rest of the world. OUR HOUSEs singles, on the other hand, sound like a group that very much gives a f*ck. There are multiple f**ks given. You dont get Swizz Beatz on a track like Throw It Away without an eye on radio spins. You dont get Cee-Lo on the hook of a record like My Life without hoping for a The Voice performance on prime time. You dont have Alex da Kid and Skylar Grey do two tracks, Rescue Me and Our House, without hoping theyll work the same chart magic they worked on Eminens Relapse. Speaking of which, you dont have Em on the hook of a stripper anthem like Throw That without some hit aspirations. Its not so much that these songs are bad, its that they sound like a focus-grouped version of Slaughterhouse, like theyre being squeezed into the same box that not too long ago wanted nothing to do with them. With that said, come on, its not like welcome to: OUR HOUSE contains a posse cut with Flo-Rida, Tinie Tempah and Katy Perry. (An exec at Universal just wet himself.) At 16 tracks, 20 on the deluxe version, this album manages to work in more than a couple joints featuring some of the vicious rap hardcore fans were hoping for. Coffin is driven by one of Bustas best hooks in a minute and some serious wack emcee casket burying, Flip a Bird appropriately flips a crazy sample into the albums best hustling anthem, and Frat House is as narcotic and wild as the title suggests. Still, OUR HOUSE seems much more interested in lifting listeners up then tearing down the opposition. In fact, Joell Ortiz may just say it best on the put your lighters in the air arena anthem Park It Sideways: I cant say that / radio wont play that. Its a joke, but its funny because its true. Listen, theres a reason Slaughterhouse put out On the House last week. If you want 12 minute songs, barrages of lyrical gunfire and sh*t you definitely cant say on radio, youve got it. But that album/mixtape/whatever were calling projects like On the House these days was free. OUR HOUSE is Slaughterhouses bid to make some money, move some units and who knows, maybe even land on a Lipton Brisk commercial or two. Can you blame them? If anyone knows just how quickly this game will pass you by if you dont seize every opportunity, its Joe, Joell, Royce and Crooked.

  • Justin Case

This is pretty sad. These guy are gonna do just a bit more than 2Chainz did his second week...SMH. They don't make the greatest music( I actually prefer them solo than a group), but there is no way 2Chainz's music should be coming off shelves quicker than these 4. The industry is winning right now by force feeding garbage to naive, gullable, easily brainwashed fans. WTF is going on? The days of balance in the mainstream is so dead.

You know whining fat fuck Joell Ortiz's ONLY even ** HALF ** decent (an half shit) album, "The Brick," will have sold more copies than if you extrapolate Joell from the hot mess? How can you call that progress with all the promotion and Em co-sign? FACT: the more people learned of LAUGHTERHOUSE the group and these bums solo the LESS they liked them. Not to mention ALL their very few good lyrical ideas were used up YEARS ago. LAUGHTERHOUSE were served to the world on a silver platter thanks for Eminem's Proof RIP guilt trip and they blew it (they blew Em's cock too) in Every. Possible. Way. They annoyed their nerd fans and clowned themselves so the rest of us could laugh laugh laugh laugh...

  • wufan

I was expecting this album to flop, but 50k will be success for them, that album is horrible (i liked their previous more), only 4-5 songs are worth of listening more than just once. There are two things why Slaughterhouse will never be successful: 1. group has NO CHEMISTRY at all, it all sounds just like 4 random rappers put together in order to create a so-called "supergroup". The real group for me is Wu-Tang clan, they have perfect chemistry and they basically sound like they were made to be with each other. Like the one big living organism, not like legs and hands attached together by plastic. 2. Slaughterhouse rappers have NO IDENTITY, they are nothing special, I don't see anything recognisable about them. If any rapper from Slaughterhouse would be in one room with 20 other rappers, I won't be able to pick one from Slaughterhouse. I know they are not average rappers, but face it - they are just random rappers maybe with more lyrical talent than others, but it's not enough. They are just the same as anybody else from their clothing up to their talk on radio or TV. And in this world with millions of rappers and singers, you HAVE to be special. You see they were on every media's dick 24/7 last months, but nobody cares about no identity rappers. And that's the shame for such a good lyricist, even Gucci Mane has identity and it's easy to recognise him everytime. I know he is one of the wackest rappers in mainstream, but he is successful because he is different. Lupe Fiasco, Nas, Slick Rick, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, 2 Chainz, Big K.R.I.T., T.I., Ludacris and the list goes on - every SUCCESSFUL rapper in history of music had something special in his personality, flow, lyrics, image or anything else. Slaughterhouse have none of it.

wufan and I are not the same person. I actually enjoy all the Slaughterhouse articles on here, give me a break from stupid non hiphop related articles about nicki minaj on her period or kim k or something. I love Slaughterhouse, but am still waiting for something amazing

    • wufan

first anonymous: They don't mean antything special for me, I just want some good music (and recognisable as well) and I was really disappointed after that kind of hype, no album was hyped that much this year, everyday I visit hiphopdx because it's my favourite hip hop page and EVERY damn day I see article about Slaughterhouse (or about Eminem with some slaughterhouse stuff inside), it is just little bit annoying, but I like to know everything what happens in hip hop nowadays, so I can't ignore it and I'm not an ingnorant person as well the third anonymous: no, I'm not yaowa, maybe we share the same opinion, but I'm not him and he is not me.

    • Anonymous

      wufan & yaowa... same person?

    • Anonymous

You wanna know another reason as to why Slaughterhouse will never achieve mainstream success? Cause Eminem isn't in the group.

    • yaowa

You know, I can totally understand what he's saying. I'm a big fan of them all, but more so INDIVIDUALLY. Wu-Tang had chemistry together, but when you put all of Slaughterhouse together it doesn't seem to fit. Black Hippy seems to be a better group then them. BUT don't get wrong... I love all of Slaughterhouse, but what they have been coming/came out with hasn't impressed me much. I have high expectations for them that haven't been met yet.

    • Anonymous

... Slaughterhouse must actually mean a lot more to you than you say for you to write that about them. Confused admiration.

It's a great record. Fucking idiots getting buttdevestated about a melody on a chorus. "Our House" was an amazing opening track. That whole second half is dark and personal as fuck, and half the people complain about them not having any subject matter, and the other half is complaining about it not being 90's enough. Shut the fuck up. Retards don't know shit about bars.

  • Anonymous

Told ya about 50k. Shady 2.0 is a FLOP. 50 cent is next.

  • Hmm

Hammer Dance is raw though, they should have stuck to these raw ass beats this but they on some mainstream shit, it doesn't work for hardcore Rap fans

  • Anonymous

SHADY THE NEW KOCH RECORDS LOOL

  • Anonymous

they need to keep the skylar grey singing and emo songs off of this i wanted more raw hip hop straight spitting but i support this album simply off the mixtape they put out

  • Anonymous

That's horrible. All that hype and they can't even do 100,000 first week. Time for Em to find another supergroup.

  • SIG

Seems like EM ruins these guys man. Yelawolf -trunk muzik was so sick. Radioactive was mediocre. I wouldnt say dogshit but too many hooks. I like listening to him rap. Then this album its like... Why are their so many hooks? I like hearing their bars. I wouldnt say it was horrible. I would just say the mixtape was better. Yall hate a little too hard. A lot of the tracks on this new album tho would be tight to see live. Thats for sure. I like Slaughterhouse and Im a fan of their music either way. But this album needed more rap and less fucking hooks. Skylar Grey is annoying as fuck, everything she does sounds the same. And Swizz beats needs to stop worrying about work and start worrying about his fine ass wife, cause im bout to start dickening that down.

  • Anonymous

    i say 30,000 to 40,000 or maybe less.LOL.

  • Anonymous

Who listens to SH anyway ?? i personally don't know a single person who does ?? chances are if you listen to these guy's your either a virgin who can't get chicks or a tall tee wearing lame. Thank God we have Drake the last true saviour of Hip Hop

what a load of bullshit comments what do artists need to do these days to impress they're so called fans its dissapointing to see such hate on a group of talented individuals.cause really all these peoples comments and really what the fuck do you do that makes your opinion so special.

    • Anonymous

the album fucking SUCKS... these guys are ALL failures solo... they rap about NOTHING and can't stop... it's goddamn ENDLESS and irrelevant... LAUGHTERHOUSE are the enemy of MUSIC, period, let alone rap.

  • Nuff said....

What do u lames get off of dissin slaughterhouse? lol. really? im curious...If u not feelin they music, ok, thas coo. But to call them bums, or say they cant rap is ridiculous. If u feel that way u really dont know a dope rapper when u hear one. stick to rock or pop or whatever else u dick in the booty suburban niggas listen to. rap aint for u... Im bout to go buy the album right now!

  • Biggest Flop of 2012

SL aint a SUPERGROUP!!!! Wu-Tang was a supergroup! They had what SL dont have: - dope beats, - charisma, - chemistry - personality. SL has none of these. They should do a mixtape and never ever make an album. And dont get started about they can rap! SL cant make a fuckin album, and thats whats its all about.

  • Hollywood & Iovine

i have to reavaluate every album that sucks after hearing this... its one of the worst albums of all time... LOL @ all the money and time that went into this piece of shit eminems withering away like a dead plant sweating out opiates that keep him alive mixing wack slaugterhouse records the godfather of gangsta rap is a shut in roid freak that QUIT music to sell headphones!!!!!!!! the whole label is dead interscope doesnt know what year it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!! standout post the best parts of the album you pussy zero hot lines just a bunch of loser fuck rappers trying to be witty saying 12 year old shit with super technical flows that suck on trash beats!!!!!!!!! these guys had NO SHOT at commercial success... it was a bad idea from the start but jimmy listened to ELVIS and now ELVIS pays the price!!!!!!!!!!!!! • Anonymous

Fucking Album is Trash, Not even Worth the Download, Interscope fucked that Shit up something Royally, And a lot of You Dudes need to go back to School and Learn how to fucking Spell.

  • Anonymous

FRAT RAP FAIL!!! Interscope + Em and if you break it down, these fucking BUMS can't even sell 10,000 copies each... And that's with a TON of whore media promoting it, if not the radio which rightfully ignored ALL their ultra-wack singles. I'd love love LOVE to see the accounting on this piece of shit-- ZERO POINT ZERO chance LAUGHTERHOUSE don't ** OWE ** $$$ after this disaster.

    fuck music industry

  • quitthehate

u lot are a bunch off player hating dickheads u say drakes take care album deserves to sell nearly 3 million and slaughterhouse whos album blows it out the water u lot need to quit ur whining if u dont like it coz im still 2 stepping wid my weapon on me SLAUGHTERHOUSE.

  • Fossie

@yessir ....you can hate and hate and hate and hate SH but they will be NUMBERONE!!!!And you punkass will eat your fuccin keyboard readin billboard!!lol

  • Anonymous

The whole cosign thing only works when the artist that cosigns you is still new & really hot(pause) thats why Obie & D12 managed to at least go gold, same thing happened with G unit, 50 cosigned them when he was still hot, new & interesting & so all them niggas went platinum even Tony yayo. But if you look at their second albums they all flopped coz their cosigner wasn't relevant anymore & this is what's happening no one cares about Em but Em stans & them niggas already got duped into buying D12 albums so they ain't falling for it again , so if Slaughterhouse were signed in 03 when Em was still relevant they might have sold some records, now not so much

  • Anonymous

HDD is eating alot of shit...they will sell between 100-200k by the end of the week...im 100% sure about that

  • YEBO

HIP HOP IS DEAD FIRST REASON: SUCKERHOUSE ARE ABLE TO TAKE NUMBER ONE SPOT WITH THAT TRASH ASS ALBUM SECOND REASON: SOMEBODY IS ABLE TO SCORE NUMBER ONE WITH ONLY 50-60K SOLD... THAT'S RIDICOLOUS, SALES ARE DEAD, REMEMBER THE OLD GOOD TIMES WHEN PEOPLE SOLD 50-60K ON F.E. 70TH SPOT AND IT WAS MAJOR FAILURE WHEN YOU DEBUT LIKE THAT? AND THERE WERE SOME ALBUMS SELLING MILLION IN A WEEK OR TWO I'M REALLY DISAPPOINTED IN YOU, HIP HOP FANS, FOR SUPPORTING THIS SHIT, IF THERE ARE 50K PEOPLE IN THE WORLD SPENDING THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY ON FLOPHOUSE ALBUM, PEOPLE NEED TO WAKE UP

  • BLACK

I'M SURPRISED THEY SOLD THAT MUCH

  • Anonymous

such ashame this will just motivate them to make even crappier music.

  • Nickle

fuck WU-tang..your talking about a group that came out when everyone was platnium..fuck outta here..slaughterhouse out raps everyone in this hiphop shit.

  • OKOK

OK who are they better then? WHy "Super group"? Are they better than Busta Rhymes, Nas, Jay, Snoop, Wu Tang, Fugees, MMG, Wayne, Mobb Deep, NWA, Jay Cole, Kendrick Lamar? NO. Everybody I mentioned can ride a beat, tell a story, use great beats, has charisma, and flat out spit! That's what sells records. You can find dudes on youtube spitting fast off the wall shit just as well as SH.

    • trooth

if you would compare them to actual groups like Wu tang, Outkast, Bone Thugs, NWA, ect. them being called a "super group" is a fuckin joke

  • Big Boss

Where is the review????????????? It's Thursday now and still no review. I could have written 3 reviews by now. Step your game up DX

    • Anon

If this is one of the worst albums ever made someone has clearly overlooked all of YMCMB. I'm not saying that this album was amazing but it's easily nowhere near the worst ever.

    • Anonymous

REVIEW IN THREE WORDS: UTTER FUCKING DOGSHIT!!! one of the worst rap albums ever made and one that nearly invalidates the 'worth' of rap 'music' altogether.

  • pigface

Support the album..true lyricism to the mainstream..lets bridge that fuking gap

  • Anonymous

THIS REPORT IS BULLSHIT!!! 600,000 FIRST WEEK EASY!! 4 x 150,000 RIDERS FOR EACH DUDE SOLO!!! 100,000 EM STANS!!! 50,00 FOR SWIZZ & CEE-LO!!! IT'S A HOLIDAY WEEKEND BITCHES!!! JUST YOU WAIT!!!

SUPER GROUP??! HAHAHAHA GETR FUCK OUTTA HERE... THESE POP FAGS CANT HOLD A CANDLE TO WU-TANG.... BUNCH OF IRRELVANT RAPPERS COME TOGETHER UNDER THE POPPEST RAPPER EVER EMINEM AND YOUR GONNA CALL THEM SUPER GROUP? THESE HACKS WONT EVEN SELL 200K.... OVERRATED GARBAGE

  • justobserving

I listened to everything slaughterhouse before this album,i talked so much shit to friends saying this album is gonna be amazing!,and in the end i didn't even bootleg the shit! lol ,I think i downloaded 3 songs off the album....flip a bird, our house and coffin, they not too bad....doubt i'll be listening to them in 4 months time though. Track 6 get up,that track is horrible! and track 14 park it sideways, corny as shit!

  • Anonymous

It must hurt these niggas to be outsold by 2chainz. The truth of the matter is the type of rap music they do is boring, we've done the whole lyricism thing Em, canibus, Pun, Pharoahe Monch etc all put a nail that lyrical rap coffin 10 years ago. So its not that they're wack, it's just that they bring nothing new to the table that's why they won't sell

    • DaBeatz

and what, you gonna try and tell me you aint one of them people? lol story up son lol

    • anonymous

They bring nothing new as opposed to ... what? Come on enlighten me. Our low ass national test scores killed appreciation for lyricism.

    • Anonymous

Sigh- Lyricism is still in hip-hop. You're just one of those people who want it your way. Move on.

    • DaBeatz

i agree with you, but Hip-hop/raps been around for more then 35 plus years...whats gonna be new? lol...they an older generation, between 25-30 maybe 35 years old...u think they gonna run around lookin like these kids with mismatched tight clothes and hair styles youd see nickleback or kid rock with? lol nah....they just stayin true to themselves...fuck u gotta admit alotta people would KILL to be on shadys side..wether they sell a bunch or not!

  • DaBeatz

Funny how so many of these people are so negative towards these dudes...Notice its all about their "beat selection" and not the artists themselves? cuz YALL muthafuckas KNOW these kats will not be out rapped by anyone else...their beat selection wasnt THAT terrible. Theres some records on it that are more obvious but no one ever mentions their lyricisim...These guys are settin the bar high for lyricisim right now..well even since their first album came out. These guys didnt make this record souley based on the beats they recorded on, it was their message and their capibility to hold themselves downs as rap/hip-hop artists. I applaud cuz these guys did not sell out, but obviously they're trying to convey their message as rap artists out other then grimey rap beats, face it. its 2012 folks, it aint the 90s no more. Muthafuckas gotta go with the flow, but its just dope how they keep it lyrical as fuck...dig that!

  • Anonymous

They should've stayed independent coz now they owe interscope money

    • Anonymous

LOTS of $$$... that green screen video with Cee Lo didn't come cheap... well OK, maybe THAT did but all the fucking song placement on this website is paid for etc... I don't even think UPS would hire these bums now, however!!!!

  • 777

What's the big deal with sales? 2 Chainz hit #1 in sales and his album sucked, while Big KRIT's album flopped commercially, but was one of the best albums of the year. People just have horrible tastes in music.

    • Anonymous

Some might grow up and deny they ever liked today's garbage, and claim to be oldschool and purists so we don't think you ever had a Nikki Minaj or a Drake cd. Ain't that right former G unit, soulja boy, Ying Yang twins, Lil Jon fans?

    • Anonymous

Truf right there. Now imagine what's gonna drive the current music fans crazy. Like whoever's hot 10 15 years from now is gonna be waaaay wacker than today's shit and they gonna defend Lil Wayne and OJ the juiceman's lyricism against it.

  • Anonymous

These numbers are not low, it says they may get a number one spot. I think that is extremely impresive considering that they didnt sell out. Fair enough they didnt out sell niki minaj or drake, but they were not making pop tunes

    • Anonymous

they FAILED sell out yes; they fucking TRIED in the worst way possible and did just that-- in the WORST way HAMMER DANCE!!!

    • What planet

I don't know what planet you're on but Slaughterhouse did sell out. This is easy to prove...listen to their mixtape and then go listen to the album. Two totally different sounds. Yes I know you can be more grimier on a mixtape but their "essence" was totally gone. Listen to Krit's album...he has a couple of songs for the radio but his core sound is still in tact. Hell the damn opening of his album is better than slaughterhouse's entire album smh.

  • Anonymous

lmao and people on this site were saying 100k minimum possibly 200k, ya'll high on crack these guys aren't popular and had no singles, everyone who bought it did for em

  • Who didn't see this

    • Ya'll dumb

Just because dude expressed his opinion he's mad or dumb. What the fuck ya'll doing? Expressing your opinion dumb ass. That "get over yourself" song was for your ass you was just to dumb to get it.

    • Mad

What the fuck am I mad about? I have a successful career, not in jail, don't have to worry about bombs being dropped on my head...so what am I mad about again? The fact that SH didn't sell as much as you dick riding fans wanted? I like SH but I'm not a sheeple and I call it like I hear it and this album was sub par. If you like it GOOD FOR YOU. I hope you bought it bc I would if I LIKED IT...but I don't. And apparently alot of other people feel the same or their numbers would be higher. Unless they're some broke bums like you would support only via forum posts instead of purchasing shit.

    • phill

Whoever posted the above comment is an idiot. Listen to the track "get over yourself" that track was meant for you.

    • Anonymous

Hater. They all have their own styles your just mad

  • SH Sales Breakdown

Joe Buddens Fans: 5000 Joell Ortiz Fans: 170 Crooked I Fans: 50 Royce Da 5'9 Fans: 3000 Fans of Slaughterhouse as a Collective: 10,000 The groups total sales off of their own strength is probably around 18,220/Possibly lower. The rest of the album purchases are from Eminem fans.

  • Dave

Fuck these guys, I represent the real rap music like Weezy, Bieber and One Direction

  • MazyMelodyz

Thats to bad cuz this album is classic, and above anything that's come out this year. Young ones buy the music it's to bad they buying pop music more then real hip hop

This the shit I'm talking about.....It takes more than lyricism to sell RECORDS...SMH WHERES THE SUPPORT.....ONLY 60'000????? C'mon man.....These dudes deserve more than that, but no big singles and just decent buzz and they sold maybe 20k more than Yelawolf????? Shady 2.0 failed commercial....So much for REAL HIPHOP SUPPORT...At least with YMCMB and camps like that you got a LOYAL FANBASE.....Damn...I really wanted these dudes to do more in terms of sales but EVEN 2Chainz out sold these dudes......SMDH #StopCosigningGarbage... Sorry for the bad typing

  • Wow

Its dissapointing to see such low numbers. I actually think the album is pretty impressive. Truth be told i dl'ed it illegally and once i saw the low numbers I went and buyed. it. People should support real hip hop

  • A

Great album. Finally some good lyrical hip-hop is being heard

  • Anonymous

There up against a Cristian artist I find this funny. Even funnier people that care about album sales if its hot put it out and buy it, if not ignore it.

say what you want about wayne but he knows how to make superstars. even the most hardened hater gotta respect his savvy marketing savvy

I know these guys would have lower first week numbers than Wayne, Drake, Nicki, Ross, MMG, Wale and Big Sean. But at least they will do much better than Pusha T.
