BJ The Chicago Kid has inked a deal with Motown.

Breaking the news on Twitter (via FSD), the Chicago, Illinois native thanked his hometown after performing a show, also stating that he signed to the label.

“Chicago Thank Yall For An Incredible Show 2nite!!! Thank Yall For You Patience w/me over the yrs… Time well served. Motown Baby,” he wrote.

The R&B singer most recently released his debut album P I N E a P P L E N O W- L a T E R S last month.
