2 Chainz has earned gold certification for his single “No Lie” featuring Drake, the first cut off his upcoming Def Jam debut Based on a T.R.U. Story, dropping August 14th.

Breaking the news on Twitter, Tity Boi said that Drake passed off the information that their collaborative track hit the 500,000 sales mark. “Yo @Drake jus got word #NOLIE jus went GOLD today ,thank god, thank you, and thank all yalll…,” he wrote.

Since releasing “No Lie” in May, the Southern rapper recently unveiled its follow-up single “Birthday Song” featuring Kanye West.
