Brooklyn emcee and one half of Black Star, Talib Kweli, is readying his next solo mixtape, Attack the Block. The mixtape will come with various features, including work with TDE artists Ab-Soul and Jay Rock, The Roots’ Black Thought and Fresno’s Fashawn, among others. The tape will also feature production from producers like 9th Wonder, 88 Keys and Oh No.  

Recently, Kweli took to Twitter to announce the lineup of artists scheduled to appear on the mixtape. 

He also shared the list of producers. 


Attack the Block will be the precursor for his next full-length album, Prisoner of Conscious.
