Justin Bieber stopped by Hot 97’s The Angie Martinez Show where he discussed missing out on prom and shorting the circuit at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York.

But during his appearance, he spit a few lines from Tupac Shakur‘s “Thugz Mansion” and “Until the End of Time,” as well as The Notorious B.I.G.‘s “Warning.”

“It’s different. I grew up listening to different things. My dad loved Tupac so he influenced me to Tupac. I could spit a Tupac verse when I was eight years old,” he said. “There was not much Biggie. Coming to New York, I love listening to Biggie and I love listening to his flow. So I want to get into his flow.”
