Will Smith & DJ Jazzy Jeff Release Clip From New Version Of "Summertime"

Will Smith revives The Fresh Prince for the intro to Mick Boogie's upcoming mixtape "Summertime Vol. 3."

Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff have teamed with Mick Boogie to record a new version of their classic hit "Summertime."

A clip of the song has already been released of the song on TMZ. The track serves as an introduction to Boogie's upcoming mixtape Summertime Vol. 3, releasing on Sunday (June 10th). The tape will be made available on PLNDR.com.

"Summertime" was originally included on DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince's fourth album Homebase. It peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and later won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Single in 1991.
