Boogie Down Productions, a duo consisting of KRS-One and DJ Scott La Rock, released their classic debut Criminal Minded on March 3, 1987.
The LP featured the cuts “South Bronx” and “The Bridge is Over,” which set off the beef with MC Shan and the Juice Crew. The last track on the album was included on later pressings of the project.

I am unaware if there is another article on this album, but if there is not, I definitely believe that there should be more comments. This a very influential album in the entire hip/hop spectrum and even while possessing a less elaborate, or even skilled, style of rhyme, it still holds major influence on what lots of rappers and producers are coming out with today.
