Slaughterhouse "welcome to: Our House" Tracklist, Cover Art

UPDATE #2: Slaughterhouse unveils the tracklist to their album later this month. Cee-Lo Green, Swizz Beatz get appearances, along with Busta Rhymes and Eminem.

Slaughterhouse has been recording their Shady Records debut welcome to: Our House, releasing on June 12th. But according to the group, the recording for the album is complete and Eminem is still mixing a few records for the project.

During an interview with MTV News, Royce Da 5’9 said that all the vocals have been knocked out but that a possible album delay could occur. “The album is done. In terms of vocal recording, we're done. Marshall is still in the process of mixing, we still got a couple of records that we're missing," he said. "We're on pace for June, worst-case scenario, we're looking at July, but it's definitely coming, 100 percent.”

Joell Ortiz explained how the album has both upbeat and introspective records, deeming the album “personal.” “It's a really personal album, but there are records like 'My Life' which are celebratory," he said. “There are records were those core Slaughterhouse fans will get their 'Ohs and ahs' like 'OK, the pen is pushing. It's themed, but we take you on a ride through this album. Y'all gonna enjoy it."

GARBAGE!! -_- .. When will people learn just cuz rappers are versatile that doesn't automatically make them good artists?

  • Anon

This fucking album is the shit, anybody that doesnt cop this doesnt like real hip hop. And anybody that calls themselves a real hip hop head and doesnt get two copies is aint doing their job. If we dont support fire like this wtf is the point

  • tro

Em, seriously? I hope he doesn't do drugs again - these guys are fucking disgrace for hip hop, I hardly ever heard any of them spit at least decent verse, maybe Crooked I verse on DJ Drama's album or some Royce verses from Hell the sequel, they are just four most unsuccessful rapper ever, Crooked I been rappin' since 1995, still has no studio album, Joell Ortiz is the worst rapper of all time, calling himself "Free agent" because nobody ever wanted to sign him, Royce constantly gest overshined by Eminem on all his tracks and he's a clown, why the hell he titled his last album "Success is certain"? what success? selling 50k copies? get the hell out the game, please, Joe Budden is the only one who can spit when he tries hard, but after his debut album he fell off and it's not even funny, I'm sorry for these guys, their album will flop so bad, having problems sell over 100k copies overall, like their last album, at least, Em can pick decent beats, but these four clowns will suck lyrically forever

    • HollowC_DuB

Wow. I'm not agreeing to your status, but i like how you broke everything down in your own point of view. I'm new to listening to them, but I'm a still listen to what they got to offer to rap

    • dre

dude, have you actually listened to any of their records, by saying their lyrics are garbage and there not there lyrically, somebody should slap you with a book on hip hop, i def. coping their album, cuz there good artist, you probably just cant understand what their saying because you cant keep up with thier pace and cant read between the lines

    • Thomas

    • Slaughter_Mob

kill urself dude...lyrically theyre dope as hell...now on the popularity side they may not live up to all the mainstream BS like YMCMB but real hip hop fans dont care about that, we care about good music

    • Anonymous

your so fucking wrong. you obviously don't listen to them enough. like their freestyles and stuff are fucking ridiculous. i've never heard of rappers as sick as slaughterhouse. go listen to their leaked song on youtube goodbye. you won't be disappointed.

    • ....

Their is so many hole's in your comment, but let me just say this... And who are you to be in a position to judge? Are you more successful? Is your life more worthwhile then theirs? Are you contributing much more to the world then just commenting on a blog? I'll answer them all if you want but I think we ALL know the answer. Like my nigga Nas said "Its rare I listen to niggas who never been in my position, A caterpillar cant relate to what an eagle envisions"

  • Young King

Aight y'all here goes an exclusive I don't remember all of 'em but I know most of the producers on the album. Unfortunately there's no Just Blaze *sigh* but it's cool anyway here y'all go. It's all I can remember for right now, but i'm sure there's a couple more to mention Eminem T-Minus Boi-1da Mr. Porter J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League (Deluxe Only) Kane Beatz Alex Da Kid Street Runner HIt Boy No I.D.

    • ....

Was this from Sway? And I don't really like the production team right there... Looks like something a Young Money album would have, at least we know Slaughterhouse would tear the beats apart a whole lot better.

  • Anonymous

this Cd is gonna SUCK bigtime... dont spend your cash on this garbage..

"it just because you can't beat me" I'm not even a Rihanna fan, but since you mouthed off, I shit on your statement that she never was #1. 11 #1 singles. Billboard named her the top artist in digital sales. But because Tech Nine's music apparently makes your dick hard, you're still impressed with his last album debuting at #4 lol Poor sap. One day you'll learn.

    • @CJonno90

You still don't get it... go back to the first comment and actually READ it. "One day you'll learn." My point is your discrediting Tech's success especially for the position he was in, you can't really can't say shit until you've tasted a ounce of that and my guess is... you won't. #Winning

  • Anonymous

"Probably be the first rap album I purchase since... Cham's Ultimate Victory" My condolences to your rap collection.

  • Anonymous

"And I was making the point that Tech did well for the position he was in" The funny thing is nobody's stopping him from signing to a major. He could be up there with some of these insanely popular people if he just stopped clinging to the underground. Forever Winning

    • @CJonno90

LMAO You've completely lost the original point of the argument and went your own way with it just because you can't beat me staying on point, AND the comment you just put there is utter nonsense. #Winning

  • Anonymous

Probably be the first rap album I purchase since... Cham's Ultimate Victory

  • Anonymous

"I will download the leak then decide weather it's going to be worth $10 of MY money" Fair enough, but what happened to the days where rap fans took a chance and just bought an album they were curious about? Downloading for free hurts the artist, and defeats the reason why they supply you with new music in the first place.

    • JDubz89

I still go out and buy an album I'm curious about, like 2Chains new album, sure after hearing it i was dissapointed but it was worth a shot, I'm hoping this will be the album of the year, I've been waiting for Slaughterhouses new album to drop

    • Anonymous

"what happened to the days where rap fans took a chance and just bought an album they were curious about?" Vanilla Ice & MC Hammer lol

    • jaceshadoe

true @ ^^^^. Reason why artist "today" hardly make classics anymore. What happened to supporting the music and artist that makes the entertaintment worth buying??? Reason why there's so many garbage artist today just putting out ringtones and 1 hit wonders.

  • Anonymous

"I've replied to you quite a few times and I always win" Replying and winning are two different things. Class dismissed.

  • Anonymous

"And I don't recall her being a independent artist" You brought up Rihanna's name and I clearly squashed your logic by stating (with facts) that she's had more success than Tech Nine. Accept it. Be humble, and BTW, Charlie Sheen is winning. You're forever losing. Class dismissed.

  • Anonymous

"600,000 first week, these guys have FANS!!" True, but their fans bootleg.

  • Anonymous

If they spittin shit that make me do ugly faces because something sick was said and the flow was nice, I could give a fuck if they were rapping to a casio keyboard. Half of these non rappin ass rappers got some hot ass beats and don't do them no justice if Nikki Minaj or Lil Wayne made "my life" or "Hammerdance", most ya'll would be on it. Why can't raw lyricism crossover? Some people can't tell good from bad music, just go with what's popular and appealing not what's really good. Kinda how Christina Aguilera can outsing Britney Spears or Jennifer Hudson over Rihanna it's all in the packaging and some of us seem to rather have a pretty package with shit in it. That's why I'm not gonna hate on the cover art let's press play first.

READ THIS. You Hip Hop purists are so against the fact that Hip Hop is made of pure samples, and a mixture of many genres of music. Amy Winehouse is a pop artist right? Yet NOBODY bashed Nas and critiqued. Especially before they even heard the song. Why? .... Yeah.

  • hip hop

that bitch skylar greys voice is fuken annoying, but still cant wait for the album to drop!

I love how everybody tries to justify My Life & Throw It Away by saying they are "Radio Singles", that doesn't mean they have to suck.

    • This is what I've heard

Throw It Away was complete & utter fuckin' garbage. Seriously doubt that song got any radio play. But, I did hear that My Life got some radio play. Not as much as someone like Drake or Flo Rida, but it did get played.

    • Anonymous

My Life was really good. Most Slaughterhouse fans are justifying Throw It Away. Just about everyone knows it sucks.

    • jop

cosign and I still don't get it why it's called "radio singles" and NO radio station played it and it failed to crack Billboard hot 100 flo rida had radio singles, they suck, but at least, he sold millions of them, these guys had "radio singles", they suck too and they flopped as well

  • YoungKing

Smh at all the haters trolls and especially you back packer hip hop purist motha fuckas. I love lyrical hip hop just as much as the next dude. but y'all wild out if you can't hear your fav emcee over some premo, rick rock production etc. or get on they ass for their features. You won't even let your favorite emcee(s) hit the studio and make good music anymore without calling it pop you bitch ass motha fuckas disgust me. no wonder the culture is just now starting to move forward. fuck you purist Recovery was not pop, It was Em spitting hot bars over not just dre an bas brother production and good production at that. Lighters was dope it had an "R&B" singer on the hook. in case you bitch niggas didn't know that's been happening since the 90's. Fuck y'all This album will be dope and the "real" fans will be there to cop the deluxe edition. peace.

  • fiko

can't compare this to Nas, when it comes to sales, just because they are lyrical and all their singles flopped, Nas have huge fanbase, many albums, has been years in the game and he is master of controversy, but these guys have nothing, when their singles flopped, we can be sure that album will flop as well

  • Jay

Too many idiots on this fucking site. Smh.

  • JAY Z THE KING

Time to end this G.O.A.T. foolishness. In this constant debate about Jay-Z being the best ever I read things like "Nas will destroy Jay-Z" or "Eminem got a better flow than Jay" Those are OPINIONS. When will you fools learn that you can't win a debate with OPINIONS. Every rapper has a different style based on where they are from, the time period in which they were most successful, and their unique personality. We all can go on for days about our personal preferences but in a debate criteria like this is completely IRRELEVANT and automatically BIASED. The only way to win a debate is with cold hard FACTS. And the fact of the matter is that, when you weigh all of the tangible criteria (Sales, Critical Acclaim, Consistency, Longevity, and Impact) Jay-Z makes the strongest case for the G.O.A.T. Eminem has sold nearly twice as much as Jay-Z, and he is Jay's equal when it comes to longevity and impact. But Em lacks the consistency or critical acclaim that Jay-Z has (Im not talkin cult/fanboy classics, Im talkin CERTIFIED classics. XXL/Rolling Stone/Source approved) Eminem is VERY close though. Nas has enjoyed more critical acclaim and more overall respect in the hip-hop community through the years. And he's definitely equal to Jay with longevity and impact. But he hasn't been no where near as much of a consistent presence in hip-hop as Jay has. And he is obviously lacking in the sales department. Lil Wayne just may be the most consistent rapper of all time. He's no slouch when it comes to longevity and impact either. His glaring flaw? In his 12 year career Lil Wayne has yet to drop a truly critically acclaimed classic album (and it can be done in this climate. just look at kanye's discography). Also, contrary to popular beleif, Wayne lacks in the sales department. Sure, Tha Carter III and IV are blockbuster albums, but his OVERALL sales of 10 mil US pale in comparison to Jay-Z's 31 mil. 2pac is a touchy subject. When it comes to impact, pac takes the cake. No other rapper touched the world like 2pac did. He, like Em, has also sold more than Jay and he was very consistent in his time. Sadly, 2pac passed before his time which allowed Jay-Z to surpass him in longevity and critical acclaim. LL Cool J was the prototype for what a G.O.A.T. could be. He has enjoyed the most longevity, and he was fairly consistent, but his sales, acclaim and overall impact are no where near the likes of 2pac, Eminem, and ofcourse Jay-Z. Biggie, Rakim, Common, Snoop, the list goes on. All of these MC's are great but none of them have the total G.O.A.T. package like Jay-Z does. Jay-Z is the 3rd highest selling rapper of all time, and the richest. He's one of the most acclaimed (perhaps only rivaled by his boy Kanye). He dropped multi-platinum albums YEARLY from 96'-03', and he is still going strong today. He's been in the game since 88'. He's impacted hip-hop in countless ways from starting one of the 1st successful MC-owned record labels, to being the 1st non-athlete with a signature shoe, to surpassing the likes of Elvis with #1 albums. Jay-Z is without question the Greatest MC Of All Time. Period. You don't have to listen to him everyday (Im currently on my Kendrick wave). You don't even have to like him. But for goodness sake, RESPECT THE FACTS.

    • anonymous

dude... im doin you a favor by tellin you to get a life. this aint english or debate class in highschool. what you said will not change anyones mind on who the GOAT is. Em is still the GOAT to me. better flow, lyrics, and substance. period. im not tryin to debate anybody either cuz i dont give a fuck who other ppl like thats their opinion.

  • Ricky Rozay

most of these rappers aint real niggas. Word, Nas bankrupt never was a drug runner, Lil Wayne aint no blood, Jeezy aint no BMF, 50 a snitch, Game a stripper, 2pac a ballerina. None of these niggas real you guys. If they was all real they all be dead now. Like it or not Ross is the new biggie. BAWSE!!!!!

    • Anonymous

Why would we need a new Biggie when he ain't nowhere near up to scratch on so many levels. Nas did A BIT of drug-running to fund his career in about 90, 91 more proof of that exists than Ricky being a dealer, where's your proof Jeezy ain't no BMF and proof of 50 being a snitch? Just because Game was a stripper don't mean he wasnt no Gangsta I think the argument of him having 5 bullets in him in a bad drug deal is stronger than him being a stripper. AND WEEZY AIN'T NO BLOOD! WE ALL KNOW THAT.

  • CW

Let's face it: It's going to me a mess, financially and artistically. They could be leaders but act like followers... I wish Joell and all them all the best, but My Life sucked (despite Cee-lo) Hammer Dance was just decent, and these Skylar Grey, Eminem, Swizz Beats features don't look promising. And nobody needs Busta on a slaughterhouse track. they could do a perfect album all alone if they just had a some coherent production.

    • CW

Because of songs like Hip Hop and War cry. I actually never got the chance to see him live...

    • Anonymous

LAUGHTERHOUSE and "coherent" are a contradiction in terms.

    • Anonymous

Why wish Joell 'the best'? Dude's a fat fucking whore, whining it's always somebody ELSE's fault. The fact that NOBODY would ever go see Joell live twice doesn't help either. I do NOT like Action Bronstein's music but major props to dude for doing shit HIS way. If it's crap or if it's hot, it's HIS decision. Same-- on a much different level-- with a dude like Tech N9Ne. Joell put fucking retard Maino on his only half-good album (The Brick) don't forget and Joell sucked on his best shot for glory, "Apollo Kids." Time's motherfucking up for this dork, and I don't mean O.C.

  • HHFAN

I don't know why everyone's arguing. We all know SH's fans will just pirate the album when it comes out and then come on here screaming about how it's the best and should have been #1.

His collaboration with Rihanna obviously was a sellout attempt, as theres no other reason to put her on a track about DOMETSIC VIOLENCE then selling out!! Bruno Mars was Royce's idea. P!nk wasn't even that popular when he feat her. Skylar Grey is on Interscope...... Try again!

You produce a fucking top 5 album you stupid little fuck and the only time a album doesn't get number should be a disappointment to someone is when it's the likes of Eminem, I mean Rihanna ain't even had a number album and she's on every fucking channel so Tech did himself proud.

(Produced by B.o.B, add. Eminem, add. Luis Resto) ....: "Not sure if this is the official confirmed Tracklist but if it is then it could be dope for what they are trying to do. Them 2 Alex da Kid look like they could have a very commercial feel to them if so then I don't get why they wouldn't be released as singles but if they haven't been then maybe they don't sound so commercial. Mr. Porter has produced a lot of very dope songs don't like that "Throw It Away" beat that much but it's whatever. I think people underestimate Eminem's production ability look at his discography of production some very very good songs (some bad ones as well) certainly more dope than not so... We already heard the AraabMuzik and I think it's a cool beat. We should all be clear of No I.D. production discography, man is a fucking legend. And handing mentorship the likes of KANYE WEST! isn't a bad thing to be said about you. Dude is crazy cool with sampling as well... StreetRunner is quite a dope producer I think he gets clowned because he works with Wayne but he's worked with Slaugherhouse before (with the group and individually) and it's came together quite well. People also clowning the "My Life" track need to STFU because you don't hear much lyricism and that quality of Emceeing on a Hip Hop track on the Mainstream radio nowadays. J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Rick Ross fans are always defending that he always picks dope beats, well they provide a lot of production for Officer Ricky. Boi-1da... People diss on him for being a close producer for Drake and having mainstream sounding beats but he actually has good mainstream sounding production I mean listen to the track he did for Nas "Trust" The Alchemist, keeping a dope Underground producer for the album (albeit on the deluxe version). I guess he ain't gonna have much effect on the overall sound of the album but I'm sure the track gonna be dope. Listen to the B.o.B produced track on Tech N9ne's All 6's and 7's... yeah dude can produce, I'm gonna guess it's gonna be that type of beat not B.o.B on his "Pop Rap" shit although he does "Pop Rap" very well." You wasted your time mate I'm guessing it's not the tracklist

  • the same Anonymous

oh yeah I forgot the Swizz Beatz feature...

  • Anonymous

Skylar Grey, B.O.B. that's gay as fuck

  • mrash

I thought the featured artists would be better as well. I like that Busta is on here, but Em should just be on one or two songs, and they should have brought in some one like T.I.

  • mrash

I think this LP will be commercial for Slaughterhouse. The tracks I heard from the mixtape so far are FIRE! I have a feeling they are releasing the mixtape so the true Slaughterhouse fans can get their fill on what they love about Slaughterhouse (lyrical fire), and this LP will be to bring more fans in (commercial)

    • Anonymous

IF THIS WAS 'COMMERCIAL' DON'T YOU THINK SOMEBODY WOULD HAVE PLAYED OR BOURGH THEIR DOGSHIT SINGLES? THEY TRIED TO WHORE THEMSELVES AND NOBODY BOUGHT iT!!!! NOW THEY HAVE NOTHING LEFT BUT 13 WHITE NERDS

  • no

lmao omg they kept the track with Swizz!!!!wow thats pretty lame

  • BDP stan

is EM fucking Skylar Grey or something. Stop getting the same bitch to sing hooks on all your songs. EM needs to stop trying to sing and stop trying to replicate the terrible sounds of "I need a doctor" with this girl. This LP is starting to look like a Murder Inc compilation. All these dudes can hold their own, but EM is doing the D12 "let me star in the show" thing and getting a dumb bitch to sing the hook. Just let 4 raw spitters do their thing and stop trying to make them sing Justin Beiber BS. GTFOH! EM's got enough money to start his own label and put out honest music. Stop making sad ass, radio vagina music godammit!

What a mixtape looking cover. Surely they can do better than that photoshop shit.

  • Lenny

Black Hippy better step aside Slaughterhouse are gonna make a dope mix tape and the album could be classic don't matter still gonna be some dope ness this month

  • Stan

Em bringin out that old "Our House" song out of the vault?

  • hjk

Welcome to the FlopHouse, even with Em on three tracks, skylar grey, etc. it will flop, just face it... all of their singles flopped and was wack as hell... I'm not a hater, I liked some of their solo stuff and 3-4 tracks from their first album, being on Shady records is fail for everybody who's name isn't Eminem or 50 Cent, Obie Trice fell off, cashis, bobby creekwater (lol at that name) and stat quo didn't released an album under Shady, Yelawolf recorded terrible album and flopped as well, but his mixtapes are still very good, he should sign some southern label

  • BANKSY

I was looking forward to a collab with 50 I already heard yelawolf wasn't gonna be on here but this looks sick minus the first few singles

  • Anonymous

Skylar Grey? Man I hate that type of shit in Hip Hop. I was really hoping for a straight 12 track album with pure bars, beats from Alc, Just Blaze, No I.D. etc. I get the feeling half of this is gonna be corny as hell. Other half could be classic though.

  • war22

im lil bit pissed about that 50 cent track...the rumor was hes gonna be in there

  • me

Looks good. What happen to the 50 cent track?

    • Anonymous

Oh? So why are 50 Cent fans saying that HipHopDX hates on him, then people saying they are Nas stans? The way I see it is they try and give you news about HipHop.

    • Shady 4 Life

      Fuck everyone else!

    • Anonymous

HHDX is basically a 50 Cent & Eminem fan site these days. Anyone affiliated with either of those two is stupidly over rated and anyone who isn't is hated upon crazily.

  • joish

    tracklist looks crazy!!!

  • WHY!

Why is Eminem featured on some of these tracks he can't even rap i was thinking about getting this, but right now it looks corny and commercial. Em hasn't been good since The Eminem Show he had a few good tracks on Encore and 1 after when im gone. Drugs really do mess you up and Em has lost it.

    • @CJonno90

Oh sorry there ain't no flaws in his punchlines like with Lil Wayne... THE "G" IN LASAGNE IS NOT SILENT!

    • Anonymous

wtf did you even listen to the album! "Shit dissing me is just like pissing off the Wizard of Oz Wrap a lizard in gauze beat you in the jaws with it Grab the scissors and saws and cut out your livers gizzards and balls Throw you in the middle of the ocean in the blizzard with Jaws So sip piss like sizzurp through a straw Then describe how it tasted like dessert to us all Got the gall to make Chris piss in his drawers Tickle him, go to his grave, skip him and visit his dog"

    • ETK

Josh you're a fucking idiot. one god damn line won't prove any of your argument.

Hoell Ortiz, Crooked Ass, Royce Da Fag Nine, and Joey Buttons got nothing on this gangsta rap group. Only Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz and Soulja Boy could compete with us.

  • rlu

Can't wait to hear those Songs featuring Eminem Just can't get my hopes up too high

  • chunk Dogg

All the singles released so far have been heaps wack. My guess is Eminem has talked them into making a commercial album to be successful. All the sngles so far have been real commercial, real wack It's sad because those MCs are usualy fire. Not suprising though because Eminmen has been very commercial sell out last few years

    • ^

Your opinion. Calling Eminem fans "stans" won't accomplish anything. It makes you look like a bitter hater.

    • Anonymous

Every album since The Eminem Show has been horrible with the exception of 4/5 tracks. ^ Eminem stans are unbelievable.

    • ETK

you use these words like a retard, throwin "commercial" and "sellout" everywhere. you just a hater. nothing indicates the whole album will sound like three subpar singles. and worst comes to worst... just get the damn mixtape

    • lll

Could you PLEASE explain to me how any of SSLP, MMLP, TES, RELAPSE, H:TS and Re-UP are commercial???? Encore was trash. Recovery's production was way too commercial for an Eminem album but the lyrics are pretty much on-par, aggression wise. So that's like what? 1 commercial album out of his whole discography? WOW! Eminem keeps getting hated, no surprise the word sell-out doesn't bother him anymore...he's been called that since 97.

  • nicke_nine

I have a feeling the mixtape coming up might be better than the album.

Ok internet nerd who always uses Laughterhouse, let's play your little game....... How much was the recording budget? How much were their advances? What's the deal for, 1 or 5 albums? How much was the promotional budget? How much did each feature receive and how many points per unit do they get? How much was the cover art? How many units are they pressing up? How much will each member receive per show while on tour? How much will each member receive per unit sold? Are they signed to Interscope, or to Shady with an Interscope press & distribution deal? You can't answer a single question. You're what that dude Schwarz says, a f_u_c_k_b_o_y. The bad part is I don't even dig this group. They can rhyme but I haven't heard anything special since 'Move On'. But YOU, YOU are a f_u_c_k_i_n_g CLOWN.

Do you know how much $$$ Laughterhouse will make off this album? Not even Zero Point Zero... They'll OWE Interscope fuck knows what; even if the accounting is shady, there's no way they'll earn back their advance & costs. Hey, battle rap nerds, do a Kickstarter for Laughterhouse III because nobody else will touch these bums after this flop.

Personally, I'm anticipating Chino XL, Slaughterhouse (hyped & skeptical at the same time), DMX, Lupe Fiasco (that is if he doesn't fuck F&L II up), Joe Budden, Public Enemy & Kendrick Lamar. And I'm actually interested to hear what 50 Cent's gonna do with Street King Immortals.

Jesus man we don't wan't their fucking life stories. Alchemist should have produced the whole thing. SH & Alc sounds like a match made in heaven.

    • ....

Not sure if this is the official confirmed Tracklist but if it is then it could be dope for what they are trying to do. Boi-1da... Tech N9ne can feature lil wayne t pain and bob and not be a sellout. Nas can go on tracks with rick ross, lil wayne, and nicki minaj and not be a sellout. But if its Eminem collaborating with those people or artists on his label collaborating with popular rappers then its a sellout. Hip hop purists just shut up already....

    • Anonymous

People call Eminem a sellout because he used to start trends, not follow them, which was the problem with Recovery.

    • wellidk

Tech N9ne and Nas have repeatedly been called sell-outs, where have you been? Tech even responds with saying "Tech will never go mainstream, mainstream will go tech". Whatever floats their boat.

So wait a second... you were never a fan of Em or Slaughterhouse to begin with, but you still bought Hell: The Sequel? That makes no sense. I thought that EP was dope as hell, but whatever. If you didn't like it, well then, you didn't like it. I respect your opinion.

Lighters was dope it had an "R&B" singer on the hook. in case you bitch niggas didn't know that's been happening since the 90's. Fuck y'all This album will be dope and the "real" fans will be there to cop the deluxe edition. peace.

  • Young King

lol at you dumb motha fuckas judging and criticizing the music based off of the features and before even hearing it. Skylar is doing hooks let her cook you fucks. damn.

  • Most Hip Hop fans make me sick

I know this is random, but I just have to get this off of my chest since this has been bothering me for the longest time. And I know some smart ass is gonna come in & say no one's gonna read my "novel", but, I don't give a fuck. I just have to let this out: Why are you guys so emotionally involved with shit that you had nothing to do with? You're neither responsible for it's success nor it's failures. So why does it bother you when someone insults your favorite rapper & you feel offended? Here's the reason why: cause you're defining yourself by what you listen to & what you like. You like Immortal Technique, so that's the kind of person you are. You like Lil' Wayne, so you're a Lil' Wayne kind of guy. Because you're a pathetic fucking loser. You know what? Be a fuckin' man & distinguish yourself from shit that you had nothing to do with. You didn't make the album cover for Life Is Good. You didn't make some of the beats for Control System & you didn't executive produce Welcome to: Our House. You didn't have ANYTHING to do with that shit. When someone comes out & says they hate Nas, you know what I do? Nothing. I just say, "You know what? I really like Nas & I support him. But if that person doesn't like him, so what? I don't give a fuck if he doesn't like him. I still like him & enjoy his music." That's what I do when someone insults one of my favorite rappers. I don't start crying & call him a hater. I just leave it alone & go listen to one of his albums. I can care less what he thinks about Nas. I hate Lil' Wayne's music, but do I go on every single article that he's featured in & hate on him? No. Do I go on YouTube, look up a video featuring Wayne & hate on him there? No. I don't click on it, period. I just leave him alone & let his fans enjoy his music. That's what everyone SHOULD do, but no. We have all of these overly arrogant pussy farts that come in & hate on an artist to boost their ego over the fuckin' Internet. But they can't take it when someone else comes in & hates on their favorite rapper. It's ridiculous. And one of the funniest posts I see is, "Lil Wayne's fan base consists of a bunch of retarded 12 year old monkeys". Say whatever you want about them, but at least they actually support him. They're going to his shows, they're buying his merchandise & obviously buying his albums. If any of you "real Hip Hop heads" actually went out & buy an album for a change, then I expect good kid, m.A.A.d. city to go Gold (maybe even Platinum) in October. But of course, we all know that won't happen. You guys just big up any rapper that has that "real Hip Hop" label stamped to him, but when their album drops, you don't go out & buy it. You just download it off of Hulkshare or Sharebeast & say you support real Hip Hop. Give me a fuckin' break. That's why I can't stand most Hip Hop fans. They're some of the most opinionated, closed minded, hypocritical & violent assholes that I've ever encountered. But then they start bitching & complaining when someone comes out & says they don't like their favorite artists. You guys need to stop getting personally & emotionally caught into shit that you had/have nothing to do with. Grow the fuck up.

    • jack johnson II

i agree with you on people who support any artist with 'real hip hop' stamped on them, like the dj premier and freddie gibbs album, or statik selektahs and reks recent albums, they've all been average but people act like its dope just because its supposed to be real hip hop, that pisses me off too and they probably didn't even buy them. I always buy an artists album if i support it though

    • jack johnson

you know its ok to have an opinion on something right

    • jack johnson

why shouldn't hip hop fans express their opinions on other artists, they have every right to, and if they feel an artist is doing wrong they have the right to say so. as long as their not getting carried away with it and doing it on every comment. and its not just hip hop fans either, why are you singling out hip hop fans. Rock and metal fans are just as bad for bashing other bands, in fact its probably the case with all genres

    • Anonymous

I am in agreement with this guy/gal! well said!!

I read your post and your saying the shit I'm thinking the reason I didn't take time out to write all that is because it's wasted on the kind of people that seem to come on this website. Send some shit off to a Hip Hop website and try and get a job working for them...

8.28!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cop it or be square

  • Anonymous

Seriously.. Slaughterhouse has a track featuring Eminem and Skylar Grey and didn't release it as a single, instead releasing Throw it away? FACEPALM

    • Anonymous

thats most likly the next single to drop before they release album....video for it will most likely be out a week before they drop or after to give more hype

  • gnigga_pleeze

love eminem but he seems to be puttin shit that will sell as a higher priority than classic music. not like the old him. if he just let slaughterhouse make their kind of sick cypher music like how he did with 50 and his street music 10 years ago, and then put the label behind it, then you would have a classic, and it would sell big numbers. i dont know why he would sign the supergroup of dope 16 spitters and then stick to a pop formula its kind of aggravating actually i had big hopes for this.

    • C.O.B

they release a few radio songs and every1 acts lik there changing there not changing there just releasing diffrent music to play on radios

    • Anonymous

Yes blame Eminem for everything... Jimmy Iovine or even Slaughterhouse themselves has absolutely nothing to do with this!!!!!

    • ....

It's the way the industry is now you can't just blame 1 label they're all fucking doing it.

    • Phamous

Truth, your not a hater... Muthafuckaz will just dickride off there bias opinion. Sure, we haven't heard the entire LP and you & I could be wrong... This could be a classic... But from the 3 cuts that were released it's already 0-3 with me. Im buying this regardless, but so far Im disappointed as shit.

    • ItsTheTruth

Preach fam, let em know. That's what I'm tellin these dudes. They look at me like I'm the hater, but I went out and supported the first SHouse album. They think I wanna see SHouse fail when it's the other way around. I want to see them win, but not if it's gonna jeopardize the quality of their music for a bigger fanbase. Some hip-hop fans are really blind and delusional and wanna believe that so-and-so is the best thing to happen for hip hop, and they can't see when their doing shit that's not really them. "I won't succumb to all the stereotypes. Won't sacrifice me for what the stereo hypes" -Joe Budden-

  • Anonymous

"And one more thing, you can tell the way an album will sound off the tracklist and production" ^ so you can judge what content is in a book by reading the title and looking at a picture of the author? K don't even reply, you've said enough.

    • Anonymous

That was a weak rebuttal. Anyone can know Stephen King makes horror, but you still have to read it know what the story is about. I'm not a Shady fan, what truth do you know? "people are judging it before hearing it" simple observation.

    • @CJonno90

Well Relapse wasn't "Pop shit" and then Em dropped Recovery I think he did that to get back to the status he was at before he went on his hiatus and it worked and there was some dope songs on that, Hell: The Sequel wasn't a pop rap album it had Lighters on it and we all know why but that's what you got to do to be successful & Yela dropped Radioactive, he's already said why it sounded so commercial but if you cut that album to your like 7 favourite songs like I did then it makes a hard as fuck EP. With this release I'm just pissed off that people are judging it before hearing it in it's entirety. PS. I didn't really like Bottoms Up so I never bought it, I think Interscope shouldn't of done Obie that way after he's 2 albums went 5th then 8th on the Billboard 200. Always thought Obie was underrated and overlooked...

    • ItsTheTruth

@CJonno90, thanks for defending my point. My problem with you Shady fans is that you guys look at anything that's associated with Eminem as gold. The die-hard fans couldn't see sell-out music if it slapped them in their face. Where were you so called Shady fans when Obie dropped Bottoms Up? While you guys were arguing over who had the best punchline on the latest SHouse song, I went out and supported 2 albums from Obie. Don't call yourself Shady fans if you can't admit when they put out commercial and pop shit.

    • @CJonno90

If your really familiar with the author's work then your gonna know what kind of themes are going to pop up... "don't even reply, you've said enough."

  • ItsTheTruth

When Kendrick Lamar and Black Hippy start working with Pink, Rihanna, Lil Wayne, Bruno Mars, B.o.B, Skylar Grey, Cee-Lo Green, Swizz Beatz, you guys let me know. Then I'll be a man of my word and not support their album. But from the looks of it, I think Kendrick Lamar is gonna just do him and keep everything in house - the way it's supposed to be done. And one more thing, you can tell the way an album will sound off the tracklist and production. Of course you don't know the actual sound, but you can get an idea. Of course SHouse will have dope bars and some dope tracks, but the features and the singles have prevented tihs album from being a classic. Hammer Dance was dope. My Life, not really, and Throw It Away should have been thrown away. You stanleys need to take a chill pill, acting like Slaughterhouse is hip-hop's savior and should be praised by every hip-hop fan. It's like all they have to do is spit a corny punchline that you fans will over-rate and get wet over.

    • BIGCAM

thats bc we heard of kendrick lamar and ab soul and everything they put out is classic so it raises the bar for all dis fuck niggas out here.....TDE WE IN HERE

    • Anonymous

Why do people ALWAYS expect a classic album each & every God damn time? Nobody wants dope albums anymore. They expect classic masterpieces. Jesus Christ.

    • BIGCAM

They're giving us 20 tracks... well 19 I'm deleting that joint with Swizz Beatz but I have no doubt this album is gonna be dope, and if you don't think it will be... easy don't listen to it.

"Well i guess Joe Budden said it best finally figured out that hate is the new love" People only hate when rappers take forever to release an album and then it's still garbage.

    • @CJonno90

Hahaha, dude you on your pathetic shit. As long as the album sells enough for them to want to make new projects then it's cool it doesn't matter if they're getting shit loads of money off it, you ain't getting none of that shit the only thing you getting is the music they're putting out.

  • K-TWIST

no black hippy collab?! hopefully that still happens sometime in the future

  • ItsTheTruth

2 Skylar Grey features? God, of course Eminem would throw that bitch on the Slaughterhouse album. 'I Need A Doctor' was some wack, corny pop garbage. They should have put 'Throw It Away' on the deluxe edition. After all the bad reviews and criticism, it still made the final cut. Skylar Grey, Swizz Beatz, Cee-Lo Green, B.o.B. and modern day Eminem. Well folks, there you have it. The perfect recipe for a sell-out pop album. Oh, but that makes me a hater right? I actually bought the first Slaughterhouse album, MM3 & MM4, and Street Hop. So all you bandwagon fans, stop acting like if somebody disagrees or doesn't like Slaughterhouse, that they are automatically haters. You guys can convince yourself this is gonna be hot, but it's gonna be another album just like Recovery, Radioactive, and Bad Meets Evil (Bruno Mars). Pop features, pop production. Spare me all the bullshit like "Slaughterhouse is just trying to reach a larger audience" Translation - Selling out. I used to think Shady 2.0 was gonna be that label...not the case. Gonna go ahead and skip this one and wait til Kendrick Drops on October 2nd.

    • rapaddict92

^ slaughgust 28th buy it! wack ppl won't

    • Trent

Throw It Away IS awful.. I SO agree.. but how the fuck are you gonna go in on "Cee-Lo".. dude has been in the game longer than I have been alive.. Nothing ordinary or pop about the guy. B.O.B. can SPIT when he wants to.. stop hating. Skylar grey is an artist not a pop singer.. and modern day Em may not have the same material content but his rhymes and flows are more perfect than EVER.. get the fuck out with the hate.. Wait for the album, listen to it, and formulate a legit opinion. Pussy

    • Chris Etrata

Why doesn't Eminem sign Skylar to Shady Records? You remember Sevyn who made appearances in Chris Brown's Fortune album? At least she was signed onto his CBE imprint.

"Skylar Grey, Swizz Beatz, Cee-Lo Green, B.o.B. and modern day Eminem. Well folks, there you have it. The perfect recipe for a sell-out pop album. " Sell out pop album huh? I see no Rihanna, no Taylor Swift, no Chris Brown, No Bruno Mars, no YMCMB. Nothing like that. 2/3 of the singles have been great. Throw it away was awful, but hammer dance and my life were the shit. Quit putting down this project when you have no idea what it is going to sound like.

    • @CJonno90

Hahahaha Whatever man get the fuck outta your mamma's basement... These fucking faggot's ain't even heard the shit thinking they can judge it. Modern day Eminem? Yeah I heard him on Hell: The Sequel and Shady 2.0 Cypher spittin' better shit they you could ever dram of, And if you actually knew anything about Skylar Grey it's that's she's actually a musician not on that Rihanna/Katy Perry shit...

  • thought dog

Havent heard a good track yet. Whatever happened to rap artists releasing good songs for their singles?

    • seeitbelieveit

Look no further than Kendrick Lamar. 'The Recipe' and 'Swimming Pools'. He's 2 for 2 with his singles, and his debut drops October 2nd.

I agree that the singles ain't strong, well hell I didn't like 50 1st single and ya call his album classic, and the same with Lupe. Their first single was good, thier second needed their vocals louder than the beat and they fix that when the video showed up but still ok, and now this last one is lame. I still planing go getting it.

  • Anonymous

To everyone saying the singles are representative of the rest of the album, I have some info for you. Their debut album, in 2009, had two singles. The One, and Microphone. Even though these were much better than your average singles, they didn't compare to some of the other tracks on the album, like Cut Ya Loose, Not Tonight, or Onslaught 2, just to name a few. Yeah, the singles could have been a lot stronger, and a collabo with Cee-lo may not have been the best move, but I would be willing to bet a lot that the singles are nowhere near indicative of the album as a whole. Oh, and Laugterhouse? Come on guys. At least try a little.

  • Anonymous

Tell me how the whole album is when it comes out dont't speculate on what you heard allready ...This album will bring doubters before release

  • hjk

just a bunch of overrated rappers who never went and will never go at least gold, two singles flopped, album will flop as well, like their first album, royce titled his last album "Success is certain", what the fuck? what success? selling 50k ? I'm not hating, I like some of their old songs, but lyrically they fell off, making songs with Swizz and Cee Lo, and their beats sucks and if you want to name better rappers, it's too easy, in underground there are plenty of them, as well in mainstream - Big K.R.I.T., Nas, Drake, Raekwon, Bun B, Common, AOTP, Clipse (before Pusha and his stupid Exodus single), Kanye, Outkast, Luda (when he does not make stupid dance songs or collabos with Justin Bieber), etc.

    • Skillz

Big K.R.I.T., Nas, Drake, Raekwon, Bun B, Common, AOTP, Clipse (before Pusha and his stupid Exodus single), Kanye, Outkast, Luda ...none of these people are lyrically in the same bracket than Crooked I or Royce right now...except Nas and Andre 3000

    • Anonymous

Have you had the Success of selling 50k? Bwhahahaha you fucking idiot!

    • Liquid?

Drake? He is GARBAGE. Luda? He is GARBAGE. Bun B? He is GARBAGE. Outkast? They haven't had an album since 06' you clown. You would put Drake on that list before putting Lupe? That automatically shows you know nothing about rap.

    • DMD

Any 1 who mentions Drake in the same sentence with Crooked JOel Royce and Budden needs their head checked!!!! Straight up

  • Tariq Beats

    Sounds classic!!!

  • Officer Ricky "BITCH"

Theres A Lot Of Conscious Hip-Hop Music Out There. You Just Have To Find It. If I Have To Seek Consciousness, Then What Am I Presently In The Midst Of?

  • Officer Ricky "BITCH"

Sure, I Can Show Some Evidence. You Retards Like To Throw Around The Term "publishing" But You Have No Idea What It Means. Lets Take A Recent Rick Ross Work, Say "You The Boss" Featuring Nicki Minaj. Rick Ross Is A BMI Artist So Head On Over To BMI.Com And Do A Repertoire Search For You The Boss. You Will See That There Are 3 Writers And 7 Publishers. One Of Those Publishers Is First And Gold Publishing. Could This Be The Publishing Arm Of Slip N Slide Records? Let's Find Out. SNS Is Based In Miami, FL, Right? So Maybe We Check Out Sunbiz.Org And Run A Quick Document Search For Corporations That Might Call Themselves "FIRST-N-GOLD Publishing, Inc." Who Owns Said Publishing Company, A Mr. Theodore "Ted" Lucas, Owner Of Slip-N-Slide Records? Now What Would They Be Doing Owning A Piece Of A Rick Ross Song That Was Just Released In Late 2011?

    • why

Why Is Every Word Capitalized But Your Quote "is" Not? Just Because You Put A Cap At The Start Of Every Word Does Not Make You Right Or Smart. thanks =)

  • ajr

I guarantee that all major recrd labels are gonna be watching Slaughterhouse with real interest, this is pretty much a trial run to see if there is going to be any return on investing in a real group of hiphop artists. If this album flops its very unlikely you will be seeing anything other than skinny jeans and catchy hooks on MTV. So if u r genuinly a fan of hip hop and your hating on this group id be careful what you wish for, cause you might be stuck with Bieber spitting 16 bars anytime you wanna hear mainstream rap!!!

  • Ashy Larry

I designed this based off of a house me and Joe Budden shared. They paid me a half a cigar some used condoms and some chicken bones for my work.

  • S6 Boy

Fucking Hell look at all the hate Slaughterhouse are suddenly getting. I remember when they dropped there 1st track everyone was tugging on their nut sacks, now they get a lil success and exposure and everyones got summit negative to say.....Well i guess Joe Budden said it best "finally figured out that hate is the new love" And finally to all those people talking bout its gonna flop, surely if it flops it pretty much means lyricism is dead in hiphop. So i dunno y ur willing it to go wood, cause if it does that will be a bad day for the art form as a whole. Kids these days to busy doing the Superman to LISTEN to music.

  • Jon

On another note, which artist has the greatest album covers in Hip Hop history? IMO, it's Ice Cube.

"WHY DON'T THESE SINGLES SELL THEN?!?!?" Because outside of their core fanbase, nobody knows who they're, and could care less how lyrical they sound. Royce should ask Em if he can finance his own big budget solo album, and forget this little after school hang out session.

well ALL the haters being YMCMB MMG fans making about them hoes, and the fact that you saying Slaughterhouse songs are boring is showing how stupid you really are we don't need your "hot beat & a catchy hook" we have the mental capacity to listen to the lyrics to keep us very entertained... Lyrics you what they are don't you nah I guess not.

U bums likes boring songs, dont u? This article has nothing to do with mmg and ymcmb yet u brought it up. Laughterhouse will still flop like a dry fish though

As i look down thru the coments i cant help but be confused and amazed at all the hate. On top of that the complete stupidity. Some guy said "whens the release date?" it says it right up there if you read the article. someone else said "Eminem should have signed Yelawolf" dumbass he did! do people even read the post or do you just scroll down to the comment section and start spouting idiocy? Well, whatever the idiots and haters wanna say, I believe the slaughterhouse album will be a classic and the cover art is badass. They really have the pop scene scared, as you can see. these guys are all very talented and have great chemistry. Slim knows what he is doing. You will see

  • mcg

It's a decent idea for the cover and at a first glance it looks alright, but when you look closely and notice how horribly Photoshoped it is, this is pretty bad. These guys get so much unnecessary hate though it's ridiculous, I can't wait to hear the album.

"You may have gone platinum, it has nothing to do with luck it just means a million people are stupid as fuck!"-Immortal Technique I bet you that a majority of the best albums out this year wont even be on the charts or sell that many units compared to mainstream acts.looking forward to hearing this, I hope they don't have allot of radio friendly tracks and only a few good lyrical tracks like what eminem did to yelawolf's album. I doubt it'll blow me away though. I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed

These fucking haters just don't get it when we buy the album it's money well spent, with you, you might as well just use $13 as toilet paper... Plus we'll be listening to this album for quite some time, you won't be listening to again after a month
