So lemme preface this: I'm an LB stan. Aside owning the albums, going to concerts, buggin' Big Doh, and sporting the t-shirt (you know you gotta buy them joints from Tigalo himself), I fux with LB on a fundamental level. Some cats from the south who made dope music. I remember giving this cat the evil eye back in the gap when he said LB should lose Big Pooh (they were still a group then). Folks got opinions. Maybe Phonte nicer with the flow etc. But Pooh wasn't no simpass rapper either. Simply put: the soul that them cats brought to hip hop was refreshing. I remember the first time I heard and thought: these cats the ATCQ of my generation. Then things fall a part. I watched people go they separate ways. I watched as Pooh and Phonte each debuted solo efforts. Neither was featured on the other's jawn. No prob. We even. Until you see 9th on the boards for a couple of Phonte's joints, BUT not the homie Pooh. Spidey sense tingling. Then, I watched 9th and Tigalo team up for Red Bull Music Academy. No Pooh. Spidey sense picking up. Next, you see Phonte and 9th in the video for "Kings". Not even a shot of Big Pooh in the background?!?!?! Spidey sense is ablaze. Now, we got tour dates, and no Pooh. Well, it ain't spidey sense no more; it's common sense. Them cats not effing with Pooh!!! Pooh a grown man. I'm sure he don't need blog heads speaking for him, but cot damn. Back in the gap, Phonte (and you know I luv ya like a big brother) was the posting the youtube clips "addressing" the situation with 9th, and putting the family business out there. And now you telling me Pooh is the odd man out?!?!?! I understand the folks grow apart. Things breakdown. Feces occurs. But after watching "Beats, Rhymes and Life" and seeing how Tribe flamed out over little things, I feel cheated. Me and my homies used to sit around the dorm room and bump LB proud of the fact that three college-educated cats, from the south, was talking about more than chains and rims; hoes and blunts. Them cats broke a mold. People fall out. Things fall apart. But at the end of the day, brothers are brothers.

So....Rapper Big Pooh was a pain in tha ass, therefore Little Brother dead? Jesus. Get this man on board and reform the group!!Seems like these guys split up, waited for the dust to settle, then came back together....what does Big Pooh think about this?

I am not swure what really went on with the group, but it seems like Big Pooh got the short end of the stick. I could have sworn Phonte had major issues with 9th which is how the group originally began to splinter but now, these niggas patched things up and are now like "Well forget the other nigga. He was a weak link anyway"
