RIAA Awards Tyga, YC With Their First Gold & Platinum Plaques

The Recording Industry of America has awarded Tyga and YC with their first gold and platinum plaques.
According to a press release, Tyga earned his first gold and platinum plaque for selling one million downloads of his smash hit “Rack City.” Also in the winner’s circle are Fun.’s “We Are Young,” Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” and The Wanted’s “Glad You Came.” YC earned his first gold download certification with his hit “Racks.”
Additionally, Kanye West earned a four-times multi-platinum plaque for “Heartless.” Mary J. Blige’s latest album My Life II… The Journey Continues (Act 1) became her twelfth LP to achieve gold status.
