Yesterday, elusive singer-songwriter The Weeknd came out from hiding to perform an hourlong set at Coachella 2012 festival.

During the set, Abel Tesfaye ran through cuts including “Crew Love,” “Wicked Games,” “Dirty Diana” and “Glass Table Girls.” According to L.A. Times, he performed mostly with a full band and “filled with atmospheres pulled out of shadows and beats that split the difference between modern hip-hop and bedroom soul.”

The Toronto, Canada singer recently announced his first U.S. tour, which began with his performance at Coachella. He will next appear at Brooklyn, New York’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on April 25th.
