During the set, they ran through "No Sleep Till Brooklyn," "So What Cha Want," "Sabotage" and "The New Style," while The Roots' ?uestlove hopped on the drums to accompany the rappers.

Chuck D and LL Cool J were on hand to induct the Beaties into the Hall of Fame. Michael “Mike D” Diamond and Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz were at the ceremony, but read a speech by Adam “MCA” Yauch, who was not in attendance.

It's awesome the Beastie Boys were inducted. But we need a hip-hop hall of fame!

It's was the best performance of the night, among many great performances. Even Questlove rocked the mic! Hip Hop got so much love, Cleveland cheered for everybody there or mentioned (PE, LL, Run DMC, Grandmaster Flash & The Furious 5, Treacherous Three, the Roots, Heavy D and The Beastie Boys). Chuck D's speech was so on point it's ridiculous. And LL's addition was a nice touch.
