Twista has been sued for the death of a bodyguard in a tour bus crash in 2004.
According to The Chicago Tribune (via FSD), the family of Arthur “Butch” Dixon has filed suit against the Chicago, Illinois rapper. Dixon died of multiple blunt force trauma during a rollover crash in Pennsylvania. The crash occurred when Twista’s cousin, Otis Bankhead, fell asleep at the wheel on the way back to Chicago from New York.
The lawsuit targets Twista and his record labels and promoters for not barring Bankhead from driving. Bankhead allegedly had a history of driving violations and his license had been suspended at the time of the crash.

Dixon’s family had filed a similar lawsuit two years after the crash, but their lawyers dropped the case last year.
