Shortly after premiering his new single “The Don,” Nas debuted the track during a live performance at SXSW.

During the show, Esco ripped through the gritty cut, paying homage to the song’s co-producer Heavy D by projecting his picture on the wall. The gig also featured a live performance of Illmatic in its entirety.
