Wiz Khalifa Proposes To Amber Rose, Estimates $100 Million Income In 2012
Wiz Khalifa had a big week. After dating his main squeeze Amber Rose for more than a year, the Taylor Gang leader proposed to the bald-headed model, tweeting a picture of the rock he put on her hand. Additionally, Wiz gave a generous estimate that he would top his $11 million accrued in 2011 with a whopping $100 million in income this year, which he believes will come from touring and merchandising. Wiz, whose new mixtape Taylor Allderdice is releasing soon, said, “Oh yeah, man, I’m going to make $100 million this year. No doubt, $100 million. The new mixtape [will] get everybody ready and get their wallets open.”

Bizarre Announces Departure From D12
After performing with D12 for more than 15 years, Bizarre spoke exclusively to HipHopDX and revealed that he is leaving the group. During our conversation with the outspoken emcee, he said that the band had “creative differences and decided to go our separate ways – well I decided to go my separate way.” He also gushed over his love for Nicki Minaj, explaining that he won’t stop stalking her on Twitter until she decides she’s creeped out. In the meantime, Bizarre is set to release his free album This Guy’s a Weirdo on March 30th.
Too Short Releases No Trespassing, Says There Was An Industry-Wide Plot To Shut Down Conscious Hip Hop
With his latest album No Trespassing arriving in stores this week, Too Short spoke with HipHopDX about his early days in dealing with Jive Records. During our conversation, the West Coast veteran revealed that the label encouraged him to ditch rapping about conscious topics like crack cocaine and poverty, and that the imprint wouldn’t allow him to record albums with artists like E-40 on account of the socially-minded topics he wanted to tackle. Additionally, Too Short discussed recording with Dr. Dre for the first time as well as broke down the first seven tracks from his latest LP.
