Del The Funky Homosapien's "I Wish My Brother George Was Here" To Be Reissued

Oakland, California emcee/producer Del The Funky Homosapien‘s solo debut album I Wish My Brother George Was Here will be re-issued on March 13. The 1991 Elektra Records release from the Hieroglyphics co-founder (t/k/a Del Tha Funkee Homosapien) will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a bonus poster of its cover art.

The album, reportedly an ode to Parliament Funkadelic’s George Clinton, featured involvement from Del’s cousin Ice Cube, as well as the Boogiemen.

one of the best rap albums of all time. funky del. cube was all over the album, cuz del was writing for cube at this time. del is one of the best rappers ever. his cousin cube hit it big, del kept it funky and is still dope til this very day. needs to drop deltron 2 tho.

I think this is cool,exposing a generation of 'new'Hiero & DEL fans to his early work.But I wish they would have included the B-sides-"Eye-examination"& "BURNT" (that actually introduced the SOULS OF MISCHIEF to the HipHop community..'instead of a poster!?!

You must be illiterate! "Coping" means to deal with a problem. The word you are looking for is copping. The general rule is that if two consonants follow a vowel, the vowel will have a soft sound. If there is only one consonant after a vowel, then the vowel will have a hard sound. If you listened to some intelligent rappers like Wayne and Drake, you might have a clue about things. This is why YMCMB is the future of hip. Intelligent people with careers listen to them and buy their material. Meanwhile, poor illiterate dudes listen to artists like Jay-Z and DMX.
