It feels like January just flew by, right? The last full week of January brought some huge mixtape releases. Young Buck finally delivered his mixtape; it wasn’t “Bond Money” but it was “Live Loyal Die Rich.” The mix carried a few bangers like the Outlawz-assisted cut “Car Cloudy.” Saigon also dropped “Warning Shots 3: One Foot In the Grave” as well as Maino’s pre-album mixtape “I Am Who I Am.” Then Alley Boy arrived with “Nigganati” and took shots at T.I. and Young Jeezy with “I Want In.” This week isn’t as eventful as far as we know, but Hip Hop is always full of surprises. Crooked I’s peeps Horse Shoe G.A.N.G. drop “Ambitions AZ a Writer” tomorrow, while Project Pat and Gucci Mane gear for releases on February 3rd and February 5th, respectively. Juvenile will also be dropping “Mardi Gras” on the 3rd, hosted by DJ Smallz. Valentine’s Day gets even more promising as Ski Beatz brings Part 4 of 24 Hour Karate School with “Twilight” and many more mixtapes. Casey Veggies announced that “Customized Greatly Vol. 3” was coming, and with that news came his new track “Fuckin Awesome. “ True story, Casey.
