In a recent interview with HipHopWired.com, Roc Nation signee Jahlil Beats, the man behind Meek Mill’s “I’ma Boss
“Just a blessing, and [I’m] honestly happy to be here,” says Beats, who signed to Jay-Z’s label in October.
The 23-year-old will be involved in Roc Nation projects such as Willow Smith, J. Cole, Jay Electronic, and Jay-Z’s albums.
He also expressed a desire to record with Kanye West. “Hopefully I can work with Kanye. I just left L.A. and was working on a few things with No I.D. so hopefully I can get some work in on the G.O.O.D. Music Compilation.”
