SL Jones, protege of Mike Bigga b/k/a/ Killer Mike, has been making himself known as one of the next top artists for Hip Hop fans to check out. Now, the Grind Time Rep Gang affiliate has announced that DJ Burn One and he have linked up for a new project titled Paraphernalia.

According to a recent interview with 3 Little Digs, the Arkansas emcee first met renowned DJ at a strip club. Although Jones didn’t know the DJ/producer behind Freddie Gibbs and A$AP Rocky by appearance, he said that his reputation preceded him in terms of music.

“It’s been a long time time coming, we met a little while ago…at a strip club, which was crazy ‘cus that was the first time I had actually seen him because I had [heard] his previous work with…my brother Pill, Alley Boy, Freddie Gibbs, A$AP [Rocky]…[the list] goes down,” he said. “It was just one of those things, just the perfect timing.”
