M.O.P.'s Billy Danze Launches "Rap United Nations" Platform For Artists

Danze gives back to Hip Hop by helping artists get heard.

M.O.P.'s Billy Danze has announced the launch of Raps United Nation ("RUN"), a platform geared towards letting talented artists get heard.

“As an artist I understand the frustration," explained Danze. "There are so many artists out there that possess the talent of being able to produce and record good music. They are determined; they have the drive and dedication, but feel as if no one notices. I’ve seen and heard what’s out there from an artistic level.  These artists need to be heard and have a united voice. I am very passionate about giving them that opportunity and will do anything in my power to help those that really want to win.”

The Hip Hop vet continued, saying, “My aim is to get every talented artist a deal.  Support on a globalized scale is all an artist really needs or could ask for. I have contacted all my resources and they in return have done the same.  A vital key to success in this business is alliance; and I personally have a team in every corner of the world. We can build a team of thousands and support each other.”

“As a fellow artist, these projects will enable me to be a vital cog in a family of worthy artists that simply need a platform and a voice and to oversee that lends the potential to be the biggest accomplishment of my career.  From a business perspective, I believe 'RUN' (Raps United Nation) is a vehicle the industry is desperately lacking.  The way to find new talent is to go get it.  Industry executives no longer believe in the artist, or artist development, how can the industry grow if we don’t allow new artists to showcase their talent?”

DANZE is a REAL stand up dude PERIOD. He genuinely cares about REAL talent being seen and heard. He doesn't have to look out for the NEW KATS he's good with his life trust that much. In this era of watered down, manufactured artists seeing all the SHINE and Billy is making it his mission to see the ones who put all there soul into their music get some recognition for a CHANGE. SALUTE to BILL DANZE a true pioneer in the GAME. Rugged One

Good for him. Record Labels are never about talented artists - they prevent most talented artists from getting heard. They're about appealling to the majority of buffoonish fans who believe in 'hits' and subscribe to fads like 'swag'. A shame. Hopefully the power of the artist will see real talent shine through.

  • V-Nasty is God

How is he gonna get other artists heard, when the only thing he's known for is "ANTE UP, CAP DAT FOOL!", and tryna sue John Cena for sampling it. It's a nice song and all but i'm just saying, he's probably gonna breed some future one hit wonders. The only reason i listened to their last album (or even knew they had one) is cause the Snowgoons produced it. It was aight.

Never about the number of buys. There are millions of fools with poor taste in music around the world - everyone knows that. The 'one-hit wonder' label is a bit of brainwashing for those same fools - don't get sucked in. Keep listening to quality music, rather than thinking it's about hits.

  • So Icy Boi!

YMCMB United Nation comin soon. Birdmans apartment gonna be da 46th state. man... Lil Wayne will do incredible things dat you cant dream of now. nah mean? swag

Haha, good bit of satire. This is what most uneducated youths say due to only growing up on idiocy and never actually reading a book, well done. Of course I presume your tastes in hip-hop are a little better.

  • kennyken

good lookin out. this is a good look for rap period. m.o.p. is saying it's not about the garbage anymore, it's about mc's and rappers whom can put out good material and work together without worrying about somebody saying they selling out to another nation/region....get it get it

  • Up North

The problem isn't artist being heard. The problem is that there's no filter.
