Nicki Minaj & David Guetta Perform "Turn Me On," "Super Bass" At 2011 American Music Awards

The Young Money rapstress performs "Turn Me On" and "Super Bass" during the ceremony.

Nicki Minaj and David Guetta opened the 2011 American Music Awards tonight, running through their collaborative cut "Turn Me On" as well as her solo smash "Super Bass."

Emerging to the sound of the cut, a scantily clad Nicki sang her way through their pop hit, mingling with similarly outfitted backup dancers during the performance. The Young Money spitter ripped into "Super Bass" mid-gig, rounding out the opening set with some pop-rap flair.

  • Black Woman

I notice that many Black women hate on Nicki Minaj. Just apart of the Black culture to hate on other women of African decent. As a Black woman, I think Nicki Minaj is doing a great job. Shes a great performer, shes beautiful, and promotes a different sound and hip hop/rap perspective, so let her make her money!
